Went in to my local Verizon store today so I can check out the Treo 700W, after inputing my name and info on the touch panel and waiting over 40 minutes for my name, I had to walk out... there were still 2 people in front of me and a couple of them walked out also.

Another funny thing is that I overheard a sales person compare the Treo 700W/Treo 650 with the PPC 6700 to a potential customer... He told her and I quote: " The Treo's are much too bulky compared the the 6700, and to be honest with you, you'd be a trend setter with the 6700, it is just soo cool". I almost LOL in front of them.

I am up for a new phone, and I've decided to get the e815 over the Razr (any comments on that decision would be appreciated), but noticed that they jacked up the price on all the phones $30 yesterday. I know the prices change, but how often do they change? I can wait a week to see if it goes back down, but I'm not going to wait much longer than that. Anyone know what the odds are the prices go back down in the near future?

I am thinking of switching from Sprint (mostly because I am tired of my 4 year old phone and am the only person I know who uses Sprint, so no free wireless to wireless). The main thing keeping me with Sprint however is the availability of earlier Anytime minutes, starting at 7 pm.

Any idea if now that Sprint has 7 pm standard on all plans for no extra charge will VZW or any other carriers try to compete with that?

I'm so sick of verizon and their crippled phones and featureless UI 👿 Are there any new phones on the horizon similar to the 6256i but much better? I'm about ready to jump ship to Sprint just for a decent phone. i am currently eligible for a new phone and am dissapointed with the choices i have available to me right now through verizon (seems like everything is a flip phone these days... and im not a fan of them). ☹️ does anyone know of any non-flip phones coming soon or available soon through verizon because i badly want to get out of the phone i am in right now.. im sure its posed somehwre here already but im new to the site and am learning. any advice or info would be greatly appreciated... thanks all!!

My contract is up May 3rd and I can't choose between Verizon or Cingular. Right now I'm leaning toward Cingular because they phone awesome phones, and good minutes and plans. The only draw back that I've been seeing is the coverage. I'm in the Columbus, OH area and Verizon gives me great service I always have 5 bars everywhere. The only reason I'm considering leaving verizon is their phones. Yeah I know everyone is tired of hearing it but the UI pretty much suck ***. Well and the plans for Verizon are getting expensive and they are trying to squeeze every penny out of there customers. I have herd that the RAZR V3i is coming out in May and plan on getting that. I give up waiting for the a930 to come out. SOme people say not till May and ive had my current phone for 3yrs. Can anyone make a suggestion to which one i should upgrade to?

I personalized my voice mail introduction. Both with my name. And then also with my own intro. But that lady's voice STILL comes on after my intro. The lady says something like "at the tone, please record your msg, after recording you may hang up or press # for more options" ... or something like that.

How can I get rid of the lady's voice ? My intro is enough ... and people know how to leave a msg these days.

i searched this forum for a way to skip the password on voicemail and the thread was from '03... i know verizon changed their vm last year and on the new voicemail, is there a way to skip. used to you could change the vm number in the phone, add a pause and then the password. my in-laws both have verizon and when i tried that, it didn't work... is there something i'm not doing right or does verizon not allow this anymore? thanks in advance for the feed back!!!

i want a tre 700w but made the mistake of picking up the Razr for my new every two in january. is there anyway i can get the treo without paying full retail. i have the toatl equipment coverage plan. will it work if I (wink-wink) lose my Razr and ask to upgrade? any other suggestions would be appreciated

Received a new Moto E815 by Fedex today. Installed the battery, hit the power button, the big HELLO MOTO came on. Fully expecting to see the red bars across the top and bottom with the same menu as the LG8100, Razr, but NOTHING!! 😲 No red bars, no same menu, and I go under settings and learn I can customize my menu..Was thinking bout keeping the Razr for me and upgrading my mom's phone from the LG3200 to the E815 but now I think I might change to the E815 and give her the Razr at least for a little bit. Like some of the features on the E815 that the Razr doesn't have. By the way, have had the Razr since Dec when first came out, think it is a excellent phone, haven't had a single dropped call, call clarity excellent, no problems whatsoe...
