Verizon vs. Sprint vs. T-mobie

😕

I have decided to leave Verizon because they REFUSE to sell me an unlimited text package and the overages are KILLING me.

I am trying to decide if Sprint or T-Mobile will be better for me, and I'm really not sure.

I live in Phoenix, travel a lot, and I'm on my phone constantly. I will need e-mail, web browsing, and all of that stuff too.

Any feedback here or privately will be greatly appreciated.

Justin

Who turned the lights off?

It's dark in here and I'm frightened. We can talk about peanut butter or phones that order pizza and do laundry. Anyone 😢

Verizon and Bluetooth

Hi,
I am a Verizon Wireless customer and I am frustrated by their lack of a Bluetooth capable phone. I understand that Sprint is about to offer a Sony Ericsson T608 CDMA phone with Bluetooth. My question is, if I am able to purchase this new Sony Ericsson phone somewhere (other than a Sprint store), will I be able to use it with Verizon? Or do I have to be a Sprint customer?
Thanks

sprint nights now start at 7 pm

i saw a tv commersial that sprint wireless nights start at 7 pm. i didn't see any mention that there is any extra cost for this. i hope we start getting some copetition going. verizon plans haven't changed in a long time. i'de love to see a lower priced family plan like cingular has and earlier nights like sprint has.

iTunes to increase prices

So for all of you who feel it is such a rip off for VZW to charge $1.99 per song for over the air downloads, this is going to be a real downer. It looks like itunes pricing is going to be increasing from the 0.99 per song that everyone has grown accustom too. Well it seems like the VZW pricing of $1.99 for over the air and $0.99 for web based downloads kis not so bad. Here is the link from CNN.com:

BEDMINSTER, NJ and SAN JOSE, CA — Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced a strategic alliance with Verizon Wireless to start a mobile ecosystem built around Flash® technology that will allow developers to create new interactive mobile content experiences for Verizon Wireless customers. BT headset

I got the LG VX-9800 yesterday and bought the bluetooth package from the VZW store and the jabra ear piece that comes with it sucks. Well actually the sound quality is great and people have no trouble hearing me, the problem is that it doesn't stay in/on my ear. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, comfortable BT ear piece? Can you only use the verizon ear pieces?

Also... where can you get an adapter so I can plug a normal pair of headphones into the phone to listen to my mp3s?

Thanks for any help.

Let's Talk . Com

Hi everyone !!! A quick question... Has anyone ever used Lets Talk.com as a means of upgrading their cell phone ?? I am currently under contract with VW and I would like to upgrade to the Moto E815. It seems as though this phone could be purchased for $199 through Lets Talk vs $289.99 with Verizon. Can anyone share their experiences either positive or negative with this company ?? Thanks in advance !!!! Chris

Pressure selling...

👿
ok, just a vent here.

I get visited by my Corp. Account Managers and its the same old tired words, time and time again...

"Sell the higher plans.
You need to hit your quota for text and data. You need to sell at least one data to every phone."

Its all about numbers. Makes me sick.

Oh and the classic... "People are leaving the store with the phones and accessories, but then they call customer service to add the features."

My rebuttal to her was, "How many of those customers are actually from my store or any other agent - or corp. store for that matter?"

She replies, "Well, I'm not too sure, but they are doing it, which means you should be getting them upfront, not loosing the commission."

So, I sit here today...

VX 8300

The 'latest news' page here says that the LG VX 8300 is supposed to come out by June. My NE2 expires sometime in May. I was thinking about the 8100, but don't want to get it if it's going to be replaced soon. Any firmer reports of when it's coming out? Has anyone had any luck having the NE2 period extended beyond 6 months (particularly if you're waitging on a soon-to-be released phone)?

What would you choose?

If you had 2 offers from 2 different carriers, which one would you take?

Verizon Wireless, $6.00 more per hour, 40hrs per week, OPS position, No commission.

T-Mobile, $6.00 less per hour, 30hrs per week (could be full time real soon) Sales Position, No cap on commission.

LG VX-8100 Crippled

I signed a new contract with verizon last week, and purchased the LG VX-8100 (mainly for the mp3 player) I really like the phone, except for the fact that I can't use my mp3s for ringtones. I read today that they crippled that feature, and the only way to get new ringtones is to purchase them from verizon. (go figure) Does anyone know if there are plans to un-cripple this feature? The first thought that pops into my head is why they only do this on a few of their phones? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
