I'm not sure if you knew this, but your name is also the title of a bad ass track by Jackyll and Hyde. It's a really dark, almost scary, florida breakbeat. Check it out sometime.

WTF verizon

verizon has the worst phones in the industry they never put out anything decent. why can ever carrier put out decent phones except verizon. verizon needs to come off it's high horse and get it's act together. they think they are so cool with their network give people what they want before the other carriers run you over.

Rep Question - Help with Ruined Phone

Thursday night, when driving home late from a local watering hole, I accidently dropped my LG 8100 into a glass of Diet Coke which was in the cupholder in my center console. I didn't realize it until after I got home, about 20 minutes later. I immediately popped the battery, rinsed in plain water, and started drying with a blowdryer. After about 30 minutes, I tried to turn on the phone again, but no luck. To make a long story short, it's fried.

My question is this; is there any way to do some kind of exchange for another 8100 at my local VZW store? I'm willing to pay something, hopefully less than $50, and don't care if the phone is refurbished. I actually had another new in the box 8100 which I activated Friday morning as my replac...

Obnoxious RAZR-wielding Little Brat Alert...

Yep, EVERYONE's got a RAZR now, its official. Check it out...

I'm in my local MickeyDee's, ready to leave. I bus my own table, but in the process I spill what's left of my drink and say the s*** word.

I hear giggling and turn around, and there's these three little punk kids laughing 'cuz of what I said, all of maybe 9 years old, all blonde, all pretty overpriviledged-looking. One male brat, two females. And get THIS... the little boy who ain't got hair one is trying to look MACK DADDY to the two lil' girls... he goes "S*** f**** s*** f***!!!" to try to DOG me. 😳

I go "I wouldn't go that far, kid". He then whips out a RAZR, smirks at me, and offers to call a cleanup crew for the spill I just made. All I could do not to slap 'im th...

worst luck or is this the norm-help also posted in 8100furum sorry

😕 Confused- Let me start of by thanking all of you for the wonderful threads I have been reading on this site , they have been very helpful while I have been researching phones. I recently joined with verizon and picked a family plan to help out all of my siblings that are still in college (4). The first phone I picked for myself was a razor. The first day I had it it froze three times and I brought it back for another one. The next one I got dropped every call I received but I could make outgoing calls. The third one locked up every time I went on to vcast. I brought it back and got an e815 as per the manager "best most reliable phone we have" The first night I had it I went to charge it and it would not charge, I brought it back and they ...

Read my lips......

I have been reading these threads for months, and I want to say this.

I have a 1 year contract with Verizon(I would never sign a 2 or 3 year contract with any carrier).

I own and use a Moto e815. It is the best phone I have ever used(I retired my Vx-6000)

I think Verizon is the best network out there. And in case you are wondering I do NOT work for any cell carriers. I always get a signal, the voice clarity is excellent, they never screw up my bills and they have excellent customer service. And I have yet to have a call dropped.

Now for all the people who seem to start flame wars, listen up.

I also use a Cingular Nokia 6102 phone as a prepaid customer. I get a great signal, the customer service has always bee...

deciding on a new phone, had a few questions.

How is everyone? Currently im a very satisfied verizon customer. Constantly traveling back and forth from NY I've gotten the best service and signal from Verizon. I currently own an Audiovox XV660 (HTC Harrier) The thing is, I've had this 'phone' since its release. Not a bad thing. I love the phone, Its just that its begining to get fairly old n banged up. (you know your phone's getting old when it's discontinued) and I plan to be updating it in the near future. The thing is, I would like to get another pocket pc except that the models verizon currently have, (Samsung i730 and the 'upgrade' of mine, the XV6700) don't realy peak my interest. The i730 while beening a great phone (teammate has one) I like the built in camera. [while not being a...

New to selling Verizon

So I used to sell Cingular, about 2 weeks ago, and now I sell Verizon. So what is some helpful info that I can glean from you Verizon reps? Like what phones do you feel perform the best as far as signal, quality, returns. I have to at some point buy a Verizon phone so that I can demo it for customers, should I buy one that's out now, or is there something coming up soon that I should wait for?

I sold Cingular so I know how to sell a phone and how it all works pretty much, but whatever info you guys have, even tips on what you've found to be successful in selling Verizon's features, or just maybe things you've noticed or whatever. I'll be checking this thread from time to time so leave whatever info you have and I'd appreciate it.

Verizon charges for SMS. What a ripoff!!

I have an XV6700 Windows Mobile 5 phone with unlimited data plan. I use the wireless ActiveSync feature with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to sync email, contacts, and calendar to my device when it is not in the USB cradle. For those of you who do not know how this works, when a new email comes into my account, the Exchange Server sends an email to [email protected] which sends an SMS message to my phone telling it to initiate an ActiveSync. Verizon charges me one text message each time my phone receives this SMS message. I called Verizon and I kept getting transferred back and forth between customer service and tech support. A half an hour later it still wasn't resolved and it was determined that there was no way for them to stop charging...

verizon is so very lame

They don't have any cool phones, they cripple the bluetooth, the UI suxs, 'IN' minutes are a rip off, they really don't have the best network, and when I drop my phone in the toilet they won't give me a new one, but the real atrocity is they are responsible for world hunger. What else could we possibly talk about today?

Verizon Wireless plans to roll out MediaFLO service in spring 2007. (opinons please)

That was mentioned from the CTIA....

"The challenge with video today is the transport cost," says Robin Chan, associate director of video programming and business development at Verizon Wireless in Bedminster, N.J. "The beauty of MediaFlo is that it scales."

Chan says the company has yet to work out how it will migrate from its current V-Cast offerings on its cellular network to its MediaFlo services.

"We don't want a dog's breakfast of services," he says.

Just a theory but.....

If we took Verizon with their (and yes I am saying this as if I totally beleive it cuz I DO) vastly superior network, and we added all the tid bits other companies throw in:

1.) Free nights starting at 7 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m and for extra $ you can make it 6-7.

2.) Unlimited Text messaging for $10 a phone, or $20 for everyone on a Family Shareplan.

3.) Roll Over minutes.

4.) Good phones (as in changeable UI's, an w/e else ppl like for TOYS, haha)

5.) Anything anyone else can think of but those first 4 I think cover the majority of it.

Do you think their would even be a point in other carriers? Or would Verizon COMPLETELY dominate the Cell Phone BUsiness? Inquiring minds are curious wat you think would happen if s...

Telemarketer calls

Just wondering if any of you have received calls with an area code in Florida that is a machine and speaks spanish?

As soon as I answer the phone a machine comes on. I now don't answer anymore. Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience.

Thank you!
