I dont wanna be blasted on for this question but if i get a digital phone from verizon will i still be able to use verizons roaming agreements?

Obviously i am disappointed with the Razr's speed. I have heard of a few people the deleted the LG programing and overwrote it with the Original Moto OS. Anyone have any suggestions or know how i can do this?

Could a Verizon rep please help me understand how the contract renewal/upgrade works?

I just started using a cell phone last July (05). I bought the family plan with 2 phones and 500 minutes. I don't buy any additional services (e.g., text, get it now, pics, etc.)

Now, I'd like to add my son. I figured I'd have to extend my contract and that's not a problem. But I've been told I need to create a NEW contract for 700 minutes per month. While the prevailing wisdom is that a teenager talks on the phone all the time, this kid doesn't fit that mold. In fact, he probably talks less than 20 minutes per month and my husband and I only use 150 minutes of our 500 minute allotment.

They are so silly, they worry about putting out a new phone and taking away from current inventory sales like 950's etc. They could release phones for Sale and keep the prices high for a whike so early adopters like myself would be more than glad to buy them.

I would spend 250-350 for a new toy once in a while ? Would you ?

That's right folks, the VX8100 will soon be discontinued when the upcoming VX8300 comes out. This phone looks pretty cool so far. I'll try to keep everyone up to date on this.

I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I received a call from a number that showed up as unavailable, I answered, there was a beep & I hung up. I checked the call history & it showed up as 0. I'm aware of caller-id spoofing services but they must still use 10 digits. I called CS and they in turn called a supervisor from a tech group, who conferenced in someone oncall, we spoke briefly & they said they'd do some checking and call me back. After about 2 hours he calls me back & says that their logs "are puzzling" & they were unable to locate where the call came in to them from but also that it appeared to have been placed directly from a switch... I do some work with CLECs occasionally & would be able to trace it to a certain p...

Can someone tell me if the Treo actually syncs with the exchange server? or does it truly require the pc monitor software with wireless sync? I have had my phone for over a year and have never been able to successfully add my phone profile to pc monitor as it always locks up or keeps saying "initializing account" but never does anything. Having said that, although it has never been added I still can get my exchange server email via my phone and wireless sync, it just works when it wants to and seems to send these wired coded messages to my exchange email whenever I sync. How can I finally make this work?

I saw the 9800 online on the verizon website for $150. When I went to the store to purchase it, they said that the phone costs $269!! I told them about the online deal and they said that they would check, acting as if they didn't believe me. They then told me that the phone would now cost $219!!! They told me I had to buy the accessory pack which was an additional $79. I asked if I "had" to buy the accessory pack and they told me that that was the only way to purchase the phone. I have never had to deal with a bunch of con-artists like that before. Shame on you verizon! 👿

Who thinks verizon will completely do away with its UI? If you don't think so what changes would you like to see?

I think they will keep the UI and make it more customizable but at the same time allow some other phones besides pda/nokia to make through without it.

I'm really not a ringtone kind of person, but now that I have a phone (V325) that has some audio capabilities, it's fun to tinker a little bit. I know I can record audio on the phone and email it (along with pics) or set it as ringtones. Other than using "Get it Now", are there any other ways to get audio on to the phone?

I'd be particularly interested in audio files of my choosing. As I understand it, presently we can only download midi or polyphonic audio to the V325 from special web sites.

I was wondering if it's possible to txt msg (email) particular kinds of audio files to this phone.

Have you ever felt more confident in one particular phone over another? I feel like I could bury my V325 in the sand and put a fat man on it and it would Ring Ring Ring. The thing is a Tank! I was always weary of my razr when I had one. Anyone else?
