what exactly does having mpt allow you to do to ur phone...i own the v325 and im interested in what options this would offer me...thanksss

Why is verizon better then Sprint?

Hi everyone! I was an alltel customer for over 6 years and then switched to sprint and have been with them for a year. I am thinking about switching to verizon. Not sure if the sprint nextel merger has anything to do with this but I have been having alot of problems losing my signal or not getting a signal at all in certain places. I love that sprint offers awesome phones, unlimited web, pictures, etc. while not using airtime but I am screwed without coverage in some areas.
Besides the UI of verizon, what are your opinions on the switch?

hi guys.. i currently have the e815, and i know how to get the customized ringtones by emailing them to myself. i was playing with one of my friends a950 and 8100, and i was wondering if there was a way to use a mp3 from my computer as a ringtone? on the e815 i had to make it a smaller time, and it worked perfect. we tried it on his and it didnt. any thoughts?
i'm renewing my plan on the 8th of april, so it'd be nice to know how to.

all you people in here talkin down on verizon when you dont even carry one of their phones have no idea but what you are reading ...and as we all know you cant believe everything you read like the fact that cingular is better (we all know that is a lie)

ok what the hell this customer is telling me that costco will waive her activation... ok i confirmed that... she also told me that they give free accessories... ok confired that... finally she said they offer some kind of costco insurance that is free of charge and last like 2 years or something...??? can't seem to find any one to back this up!! is there anyone out there who has recieved such a deal? or employee who will comment how this works? these big corporate giants need to stay out best buy is undercutting prices all around and costco is giving away this impossible gimicks to which we can't compete and so rumor has it walmart will be doing the samething as best buy probably to a more extensive degree!

In my area, almost everyone is dropping there home lines for cell phones. Not only is it easier to stay in contact, but you can text message, send pics, videos with some phones, and its around the same price if not cheaper all things considered (long distance fees, 411, caller id, Answering Machine, *69 etc etc). So, my question to you is, IF you still have a home phone (I have not personally for almost 4 years now) why do you still have it and wat, if any, are the advantages of having it over just having cell phones? Enquiring minds want to know. 😎

I have one use (for two weeks) Pink Razr and one brand new grey Razr. I don't like ebaying stuff...thought I would give it a chance here. If anyone is interested in either or both, let me know.

I am with VZW forever. I am gettign ready to try Cingular.. With the AT&T thing, SOunds like their network has gotten better and they say they get almost no dropped calls.

Can you guys share any thoughts on this ?

I really like the phones and I feel I need a change.

Most important to me is the voice quality. Does the GSM network compare ?

I'm glad your now happy with Verizon. Keep in mind however that the carriers are utilities, not religions. Yes, we all know VZW has best coverage but that doesn't mean they don't have their issues. Crippled phones, walled gardens etc.

When Cingy's network catches up, I'll be happy to try SIM cards, open networks and phones not intentionally disabled.

I can't understand how you can think Verizon is Saten one week and can do no wrong the next.

I also read a rumor the REV A could bring a ui change or the ability allow the user to download additional themes for the standardized UI. Verizon makes money and customers get rid of red bars, it's a win/win situation. Anyone here of anything like this coming?
