i got this phone on thursday and the s/w version is t98vz01. today i asked the tech support it they had version 02. they said the highest version out now is 4 and i have it on my phone. are these guys idiots or am i wrong??

Does Verizon charge an $18 upgrade fee? (when upgrading your phone)

I just got laid off from my current sales position with Kraft Foods, I've always wanted to go into the cell phone industry and this might be my chance. What I'm wondering is how much a rep can make working a full time schedule at a verizon wireless corporate store. I'm guessing its anywhere from $35000-$70000. Anyone who is willing to comment i would appreciate it. You dont have to be exact, i'll take a range, or feel free to email me if you dont wan't to put your business out there like that. Does anyone know if Verizon will be getting any smaller phones? I know smaller phones don't always mean they are reliable, but I need to switch to verizon for reliability and I am not fond of any phone.

Cingular barely works in my house and my home phone is being turned off to save cash so I need a cell phone that works!

anybody know? I heard there was an option "trust" so when I power on my headset it automatically connects like the flip boom does.

Please help. I currently have a moto e 815 and it keeps crapping out. VZW has decided to either let me walk out of my contract or replace with new e 815. The reason I am lost is becasue there are no phones that are appealing to me in the VZW lineup and I feel like I cant pass this oppurtunity to leave VZW and go elsewhere since the STANDARD UI. Where to, I dont know? The GSM Razr? Sucks. Smartphone, too much phone? AHHH i dont know.

So question is this who has the fastest wireless speeds (VZW, T Mo, Cingy)? Who is going to have the best phones? And who has the best service.

I love VZW FRU policies, asked to be abused. What are the other companies like?

And of course any new phones?

I'm DONE when my contract is up 21 DAYS. I just can't pay so much for crippled phones anymore and now they're all basically clones anyways. If they were going to make a standard UI they could have at least put some imagination into it and made it graphically appealing. I'm not going to spend cash "upgrading" to a device that has been dumbed down for people who are too lazy to read a manual. I know the average user doesn't care but if you're in a cell phone forum you probably aren't an average user. I'm a tech, i like new and improved and feature rich devices that you can personalize. I can see i'm not going to get that with vzw anywhere in the immediate future so it's asta la vista unless things seriously change. T-mo has better native cover...

I opted for the return of my v710 in the class action law suit. I also have a new every 2 deal coming up. My question is, can I combine the 2? SO return my v710 for $200 credit and use my new every 2 to get an additional $100 of a new phone for a total of $300.

what are some of the rediculous reasons people give just to cheat their way into getting a new fone via warranty? Where i live people always use the old "phone shuts down randomly" garbage. 😳

I figured Id keep you guys posted on bluetooth headsets because Im sure some of you are as annoyed with them as I am (trying to find the right one)

Picked up the H3 yesterday, only used it a little bit, but so far so good:

1: FIT - it fits great, nice and snug to the ear, I can shake my head back and forth and it doesnt go move a bit. I think I can golf with this on (may help some of you) and take full swings without any movement. So this was a plus right away (much sturdier than the Jabra BT800 and Moto HS850)

2: SOUND QUALITY - this is great...very loud and clear. Blows away the quiet Moto HS850 and is even better than the BT800. No problem driving and hearing. From what Ive heard so far Im clear to the person on the other en...
