To make a long story not too long...I am former 15 year customer of Cingular Wireless and its predecessor, always totally satisfied until GSM came into the picture, finally had enough of not being able to use my phone inside homes or offices when i could before. Did months worth of research and decided Verizon was the best alternative so i went ahead and switched my three lines over at a cost of nearly 900 when all was said and done. My main concern was getting coverage in 2 rural areas where i spend a lot of time. I went into the store and gave them addresses of both of these areas and recieved the answer "as long as you get a tri-mode analog capable phone you will have coverage in these areas" sounded good to me as both areas were color...

I work for a company that some pretty awesome discounts with VZW...which is why I have them. Add to that, my travel region for work is 48 states, so I have some good reasons for using them. And I'm happy with the service.

Mrs. Fishintheobx has managed to kill her V276 and would like full custody of my E815. 🙄 Which has provided me with all the reasons to get a RAZR. However, I live in a 100% US Cellular Region. Some USC connected friends have offered to give me a USC Razr for dirt cheap.

Would there be any known issues activating this on VZW? Given how well my VZW equipment works on the USC network and vice-versa, I am considering this option. Advice??

Yesterday I got a message from a friend, and it was a 50 second clip of a song. I saved it, and I found out later, that I could use it as a ringtone. I never had a camera phone before, and just got this on like 3-4 days ago. Well the song the sent me is awesome, but when put as a ringer, its REALLY quiet. I was wondering is there a way to record songs with this phone, and use them as my ring tones, or is there a way others can send them, like through SMS, but they sound GOOD? Just curious, any help is much much appreciated. Thanx. 😁

Im in the market for a new headset. I had the Jabra BT800 and it was ok, the only thing that bothered me was that it didnt respond quickly (took like 5 seconds to get a response). Perhaps I was too picky at this point...everything else was good about that unit except the response time... so I sold it and got the HS850.

I heard the HS850 was a fairly solid unit from reviews with a few flaws. When I got it I realized that the one big flaw with this is the volume. It is way too quiet and is totally unacceptable. I can barely hear it over my car engine with the windows up and music off...and my car is fairly new and quiet. Other than that the headset is great...but this headset isnt even an option because its useless unless you are in...

I have, whats left of a motorola v265. I have had it for about 16 months and am due for my free phone in 8 months. The screen basically cracked in half and seems to be beyond repair. My question is what are the chances they let me move the 100 credit you get every 2 yrs up 8 months if i renew for 2 more years ( Zero Percent).

And if I don't get the 100.00 credit now when I buy a new phone will I be entitled to it in 8 months again?

Also was wondering if I should get anything besides the RAZR.. seems to be the best made phone out there.

Can someone give me some info on the Verizon employee wireless plan? Do you get so many minutes for free or is there a discount on any plan that you want? Any inof would be great..

I recently lost my fairly new LG Verizon phone. I had an old Kyocera lying around, and brought that in to a Verizon store to be activated, to avoid dropping the cash for a new phone. However, they said it didn't meet some new industry standard (E911? Something like that?), and so they couldn't activate it.

Since then I've been scouring ebay and craigslist, trying to find a decent deal on a phone. I've found a LG VX 6000 in the area I'd like to try and pick up. Is there a website or something I can check to make sure this model is recent enough to meet standards, and be activated?

I just got this earpiece and was very excited to use it with my v3c RAZR...it works ok I guess ( a little quiet compared to the BT800 I had before) but the damn thing doesnt fit on my ear...it hangs off at an angle and the flip boom isnt against my face. I feel like this may be part of the reason its so quiet.

i'm confused with verizons policies on the bluetooth with obex issue. someone said that obex was disabled due to an agreement with GETITNOW. now i'm hearing that the nokia and razr have functioning obex and also getitnow. whats the deal with disabeling obex only on certain phones????

Are the analog cell phone towers going to decommissioned this year and converted to digital? Thus rendering the tri-mode portion of a Verizon phone just a duel-digital phone?

i got a motorola razr v3c for christmas. i did a lot of researching before i got it and i'm usually pretty good with cell phones.

i've gone through a lot too. but i use them well. i've had: samsung sch-a650 & a-670 LG 6000 5200.

i've been with verizon ever since my parental units bought me my first one. i'm a junior high student and i know a lot about them and usually i pick out a good one.

but i got this razr and i noticed at it says it has a pretty good battery life on phone scoop but when it has a horrible? i dont understand it. is it the same way with everyone else's is? like after 4 calls for like 5 minutes one of the battery bars goes down? and texting runs it down more?? yeah its crazy. anyone else have this too?...
