anything coming out for vzw like the cingy 2125?

i repo'd a stolen phone from some prick and am trying to call the customer to get him to pick it up, he doesnt speak any english though and attempts to talk to him in spanish still don't get much, everytime i call verizon i get transfered a million times, someone just tell this dude to pick up his phone...... can anyone help me?

The HS850, HS700 or the H3?

HS850 seems the safest, most reliable

HS700 is the newer, smaller version of the HS850 so I cant imagine they would have released it if it didnt work as good

H3 is a brand new piece also, has a cool look but avg feedback

I just had a thought. How difficult is it, and is there a chargem to change back and forth from 1 phonr to another keeping the same number of course? The only reason I don't upgrade (and I am off contract) is because I need my LG 6000 as my only Internet connection for my laptop 4 to 6 times a year when traveling. I can't do that with the RAZR or LG 8100 withought doing some hacking, which I am trying to avoid. can I upgrade to one of the newer phones for Bluetooth (don't care about music stuff) and then switch back to my LG 6000 when I need it traveling without going through a big deal? In fact is the LG 6000 one of the GPS phones that is even allowed to be re-activvated today? Mary? Bet you know the straight answer to this one.

Man, I just love this phone! I have been checking this thing out since the first photos of it were released... I love the feel and look. Downside is I dont see it coming to CDMA soon... anyone know otherwise? I would pay far out the a$$ for one! LOL

I have a pair of Nokia 2128i's which I seem to be getting very poor battery life out of. i.e. I'll charge the battery to a full charge and leave the phone on (w/o the charger attached) and just sitting on a nightstand prior to going to bed. 7 hour later when I get up I'll find the battery has already dropped to 2 or 3 bars (of 7) on the battery indicator. I do have a signal but it's not on the strong side (3 bars of 7). I can make calls fine. The local VW store tech person told me that if I'm in an area that doesn't have a full strength signal, that in essence the phone is having to work harder to stay connected to the network, even when not on a call, and that is why the batteries charge drops so quickly. Also this is a digital signal...

Hi all,

I just got a friggen ticket for talking on my phone while driving (90 bucks!!!) and Im looking to buy a new verizon phone with a really good speakerphone (something that can be used in a car). the LG VX4500 I have has a decent speakerphone, but my husband's VX8000 is much louder (they dont sell it anymore).

What do you recommend? I qualify for the new every 2 discount but I dont want to pay more than like 50 - 100 bucks.

I'm very upset with verizon and I am thinking of switching...here is why...

I check my accountonline everyday just to make sure everything is ok (I know it's a compulsive thing) Well I noticed that my "other domestic texts" number was going up and up and up and up and up and my "IN TXT" number was staying the same. So I called verizon to ask why and the customer service representative informs me that I no longer have the text message plan because it was removed from my account on the 17th of february. I told her that I didn't authorize this and that I want it back. She said since they didn't offer that plan anymore they couldn't get it back for me and that I would "just have to pay for the text messages anyway" I told her since it wasn...

Hey guys I am currently doing sales for an agent. I am currently a student at the same time majoring in business. Lately I've been noticing people posting threads about the new software release (.03) for the Razr. So as a phone guru I go down to the VZW store and asked if they could update my phone software, after receiving a dirty look I was told with an attitude that VZW has not issued a new update for the RAZR's and the most recent software is .02. I then left the store feeling like a complete a@@ and a bit confused... why is everyone talking about a software update that doesn't exist. After a couple of days I let it go figuring that they must have issued the software release in only certain markets. So last week I renewed my contract for another 2 years, and with the NE2 got the RAZR. When I was there, the rep put me on a new contract. Old one was 400 anytime min and $100 credit towards a new phone in 2 years. The new one is 450 anytime min., however, you only get $50 credit for a new phone in 2 years.

I asked if I can just stay on the old one since I don't use that many anytime min, and that extra $50 seems great, but the rep said that I couldn't. Is this a lie, or did she tell the truth. THanks

I got an lg vx8100.. I think its an overall great phone....

Next I read all about bitpim and downloaded the software.

Then I got a usb bluetooth adapter for the computer.. after numerious but frustating attemps I managed to get the phone paired up with the computer and bitpim recognized it at com 6.. although it didn't detect phone, but if i got to file system the innards of the phone shows up.

The first thing I tried was using it as a modem, I went to the service programming and inabled dun bluetooth. I dialed out using #777 and it workded perfectly. It was faster than dial up! I connected at 115 kbps whereas dial up in my area connects at between 45 to 56 kbps. I was amazed...

I have a couple of questions regarding the voice mail. I contacted tech support, but they were unable to help; however, they were poilte about it. Nonetheless, whom should I speak to or what should I ask for to address the following:

1. Sometimes when I leave a message for someone and they do not listen to the message after about 30 days, I get a return voice mail with the recorded message: "Your voice mail message to____ has not been received." Usually the return call I get at 3:30 AM. How do I stop this...it's crazy! Tech support said they can't stop this. There must be some way to turn off message notification.

2. After my recorded message, the recorded "Verizon lady" says for more options press 1 or to page this person...and ...

Will there be any new flip camera phones coming out for Verizon except for the samsung a930 or the lg vx8400? I have had the lg 8000 for a year now and I want to get a new phone because it doesnt have bluetooth or expandable memory.
