HELP ! ! ! Need Advice From A Knowlegible Rep.

My situation:

Purchased two Samsung a 950s, during the 2-fer $99.00 special and activated them on two lines of a family share plan eligible for upgrade. Returned them on Feb. 17th because reception was terrible and because I picked up a used V710 which despite a bad rep. in phonescoop I think is the greatest phone I've ever seen. Purchase and return were made at a Circuit City VZW Corporate kiosk within the 15 day trial period, all paperwork is in order. After making the return I figured we would think about it a few months before doing any upgrades.

My Problem:

Saw RAZR today on web for $99 ($199 w/$100 online discount). Changed mind about upgrade and want to do it now. Tried on line upgrade but both lines which should be eligible ...

4th quarter 2005 subscriber additions for Verizon

As we all know, verizon did quite well for this past year of 2005, but i would like to just talk about their 4th quarter 2005 subscriber additions mix.

total net subscribers for the 4th quarter came out to be 2.035 million which consisted of 1.76 million in postpaid, 65,000 in prepaid, and 210,000 in reseller.

as we can see verizon was number in in total subscribers, number one in postpaid, last in prepaid, and last in resellers.

( out of 4 carriers)

Dilemma

Any new VZW phones coming out? I remember gettnig my E815 before I ever saw it on phonescoop? Anything? The reason I ask is because I am adding a line to my VZW account.

Also could I potentially keep swapping out my phone evry 15 days?

Screamers please read!

The other day while taking calls I had a woman SCREAMING that there was no way her daughter went over the minutes. First off you are upset yes, but there is no reason to scream so loud that your voice cracks! I can't wait for someone to have a heart attack while I'm on the phone with them. Anywho, I calmly explain that she went over and the charges were valid. She tried the old "I don't recognize these numbers dance" until I pointed out the last 5 invoices had all the same number dialed and she didn't call in to dispute those. I was very very polite to this hag and all she did was cut me down and moan how she can't wait for the contract to be over. I looked at her account and found that in the past year she was given over $1,200.00 in ...

New phones for Verizon in March 2006

🙂 I have been waiting for new phones for Verizon. All of their phones are sooooo big. All of the phones are the same. Nothing really different. I have to carry my phone in my pocket and only use vib option. I don't want a MP3 player---only a small phone that is lightweight--maybe around 3 ounces. I do like the camera but it is not something I use every day. My husband has the LG 8100 but it is soooo thick and heavy. I like the Audiovox CDM 9200 but I have found it only in Best Buy stores and you cannot get a special price on the phone there upgrading. I haven't found this phone on Ebay yet. Anyone that has info please let me know. Even if it is just a rumor. Thanks 😛

Upgrades on the v325 Moto GPS phone...

I got my taxes back and I am gonna buy a v325 mot GPS phoe full retail. I can get the phone cheaper full retail through an authorized agent, rather than Verizon direct. Problem is all the v325 they have they got when the phone first came out, meaning all the ghosts and bugs should still be with thse phones. My question is, does Verizon Direct have a flahs or software upgrade to get the 0.9 Version on the phone, which eliminates most if not all bugs, and if so, how much is it, or is it just a $15 processing fee? Thanx ahead.

Cities listed on VZW website

When shopping for new service on verizonwireless.com, there is a drop down menu after selecting a state, and some cities listed are in all capital letters and some are not. My city is in all capital letters, but Verizon doesn't have a network where I live, it's service is from Alltel. Hopefully it means Verizon is expanding in my area.

Does this mean I can still get Verizon or a local number, or what features would work in an extended network and an extended service area for enhanced services, as mapped on Verizon's website?

Thanks in advance.

Activating service in extended network?

Is this possible? It seems like when you enter a VZW store, that you actually can do this, but the only thing is that you would not have a local number.

My city is listed on VZW's website as 'shopping in' so i'm not sure what that means.

Give me your thoughts

I was recently in a verizon store in the minneapolis area and encountered the worst customer service i have ever witnessed. i went in to get an early upgrade only to be told by the assistant manager that i was not elgible until august. i told her i had spoken to several of her sales people and they said i was elgible after a 3 month period on my plan. I told her this and she said she didnt know what they were looking at. i then very angry at this point drove across town where they told me in 5 minutes that i was elgible . the manager at the store called the store and asked them what they were looking and the original store figured it out. they then told me after i had run arounf for over two hours that they wouldnt let me buy it till tomarro...

LG 8100 / BitPim

Ok I sold my sister an 8100 last week. She's having problems getting real ring tones to assign to individual callers. She can DL midi's but she hates those. She's bells and whistles kind of person. I've asked a few of my associates who have had the phone as well as tried to look it up in the LG forums. I keep reading something about BitPim. What is that? How does it work? Will it work for her? She's on the Verizon network. I don't use VZW, I just sell it so I don't know the ins and outs of it as well as most of you probably do.
I'm sure I could figure something out if I were playing with the phone but I'm always trying to diagnose her issues over the phone so it's more difficult for me.
Please help!

Thanks!

I need some info, please read

I would like to know where or when exactly Wal-Mart is going to start selling Verizon Wireless phones and plans?

Where is the official "news post" of this event, can someone give me a link?

Are they only starting at super Wal-Marts, or normal Wal-Marts, or both?

Are they starting only in certain areas of the US? Certain states or towns or wat?

The reason I want to know is because I help run a authorized agent dealership with Verizon, and I have several Wal-Marts, and Super Wal-Marts in my area, NONE of which sell any Verizon products or plans, and when I spoke to the ppl in charge of the phones they sell, I was told by them personally that they do not nor know that they will ever sell any Verizon products. Can someone please ...

The year 2005 for Verizon Wireless

2005 ended with a boom by verizon wireless increasing their total subscribers on their network to 51.3 million which is 2nd behind cingular.

for the year 2005 they signed up a first place record of 7.5 million subscribers.

As we can see, Verizon continues to do well year over year and will probably do well in 2006.

Should be an interesting 2006 and a great job for the wireless industry as a whole in 2005.

The pending Blackberry Blackhole..

So, if the court rules in favor of the small company and shuts down the blackberry push software, and they force everyone to use the "backup" plan, does this constitute a change of service agreement with VZW?
And does that entitle Blackberry owners to opt out of their previously agreed upon contracts?

I spoke to three different VZW customer service reps. and got three different answers..

The "backup" plan allegedly takes even longer to receive your email and doesn't store your messages when your out of range.

Any one with a clue?
