Sorry for asking this again, but someone decided to turn my last thread into a flame-war against VZW.

My question is, I have a $99.99/month plan (not counting Vcast, txt, etc.). Is there any possible program that I could have been put on - perhaps accidentally - that would give me a $21.77 discount? I'm not complaining, but that's what showed on my most recent bill and I don't know why?

Sup everybody, my e815 is hacked so that the evdo is turned off. If I get the new firmware installed, what well happen with the evdo? Will it be turned back on? And will VZN know i hacked my phone? And I have one more questions...does anyone know if they new firmware really does fix the weak vibrate issue? I've heard that it does. I have a question. I found an agent that has a phone that I like that is no longer offered by verizon, the LG8000, I have that phone now, and it is an awesome phone. The question I have, is can I get that phone under contract, 1 year, and not have it activated. I want it to have when my 8000 dies, I want to activate it then. Might as well use the one I have till it starts acting up. The agent says he thinks I have to activate it, then he can go and un-activate it and put my old phone back on. To me, this seems kind of dumb, I can get a phone under contract, who cares if I activate it right away.

Does the E 815 have a firmware update out that makes the vibrate stronger? I read one of the reviews for this phone that says so. Thanks.

i read somewhere on howard forums that Mariah Carey was going to be the new face for Verizon like Catherine Zeta Jones is for t-mobile.. does anyonoe know if or when this will happen???? i lvoe mariah and i think that the sales would get a tremendous boost. I also heard that a new advertising campaign for radio, billboards, tv commercials, and magazines will begin this spring with WWE wrestler and Dancing with the Stars cast member Stacy Keibler. Now guys, i dont know if any of you seen Stacy Keibler, but she is Hottttt and i think that she would make a great image for Verizon!!!!!!!!!! 😁

I have this 1-800 number keep calling me and I can't get them to stop. Everyday they keep calling me..

Can customer service block an incoming call if I give them the number?

Has anyone noticed that Verizon has changed their New Every Two benefit? I just read on their website that as of 2/5/06, if your monthly plan is from 34.99 to 79.98, you will only get a $50 credit instead of the $100. Did I read that right?

So with VZW in so many places and stores (well now no longer in Radio Shacks, but they are falling like a ton of bricks) and with these markets selling the phones for tons cheaper than an authrozied agent or it appears evena main store verizon (or online verizon) can even get the phones themself, is there a reason to even have small autorized agent kyosks like mine anymore? 😢 I don't feel like losing my job, nor having to move so i can work at Walk-Mart! Wat do other sales reps for authrozied agents, or hell, even main store Verizon's think of this? Let the word get out, f*ck this.

Will the Motorola Razr V3i every be available for Verizon in the future. I just got the Razr in December so I hope It comes within a year so I can do that thing were you give someone else your phone to continue your contract and I can get a new phone. So is it coming to Verizon??? And if it isn't all of you Verizon Reps. put in a word to higher people. Thanks

😲 I have insurance on it, so i'm not worried about that, but what should I do? It may end up turning up in the next couple of days, so I want to wait before I put in the claim, but at the same time if it was stolen I don't want to be get stuck with a 10,000 dollar phone bill. What am I supposed to do in this situation?

Just got the 8100 as an insurance replacement for my 9900, but how compatible are they?

I'm new to Verizon and I noticed that checking my voice mail is not a free call during peak hours. Just out of curiosity.. what's the deal with that? And if I call my cell phone number from my cell phone during peak hours does it use my peak minutes or will it be free?

I am going to the Camon Islands to study and will be out of the states for a couple of years. What phones and plans do Verizon have available that will allow me to talk to friends and family that are IN the same as if i were home and how much do they cost??

I just had a customer tell me he heard that Verizon bought out MCI or they were merging or something. Has anyone heard anything about this or was he mistaken?

I just signed with with VW and received 2 Nokia 2128i phones yesterday. They are both activated and functional. Charged the 2 phones with the chargers that came with them. Both phones indicated that they were fully charged. Overnight, I left one phone on, and one phone off. In the morning the phone that was on, the battery had dropped down to almost no charge (no bars were showing, but the phone was still on), the second phone that was completely powered off dropped down from full charge to 2 of 6 bars. The phones use LI-Ion batteries. I checked the numbers on the batteries and if I read it correctly the batteries were manufactured in Jan of this year. With one phone I would say the battery was defective, but with two, not so much.

how can i get a new phone put on with my same number? can i do this from the chanhe eqipment thing online in your verizon account is this how the people get new phone like every 2 months and is there a charge for this?

people swear they/their kids never requested to get "joke of the day" or message trivia. they refuse to pay the $9.99/month for it or $0.25/msg or $0.99/day and insist on credit. u expl to them that it's not our service so we cannot crdt but u can reply with the word "stop" to unsubscribe. they dont wanna hear it. they insist that we have a number for the service THEY opened. i have an idea...why dont u ask your kid where he went to get the service then u can figure out how to contact them. but that doesnt work because yet again, little johnny didnt do it and it must be a "mistake" in our system. yea, vzw makes up **** to chrg u for...ok lady, cuz we have nothing better to do but to go into thousands of accounts and take the 2 mins o...

First, since when did Radio Shack stop carrying VZW? Bummer.

Today I went to Best Buy because they have the pink RAZR and I wanted to check it out. Well, I can't get a discount because I'm not up for my NE2, and I'm already a customer. So, the phone would be $399.

Although, I know I've been to other stores, who'll discount the phone if I sign a 2-year agreement (from what I've seen, including VZW stores).

So, since VZW no longer has the pink one online (at least not for my zip), should I go hunt one down at a VZW store, or hunt one down at a authorized dealer.....and will they give me money off for resigning my contract?

Thoughts? I don't now how the system works, so be patient. 🙂
