What happens to Android apps that I have purchased when I change to another Android phone? I have the HTC Droid Incredible and I love it. I have no plans to change phones anytime soon, but my brother-in-law just upgraded from an iPhone 3G to the iPhone 4. Some how he was able to back-up all his 3G apps in iTunes and then install them on his new iPhone. This caused me to think what will happen to my purchased Android apps if I ever upgrade to another Android phone. Most of the apps I download are free, but I do have a few paid apps including Slingplayer ($30), and Navionics ($12), and some others that are under $5. Will there be a way for me to move purchased apps off my Incredible and onto another Android device in the future?

A little birdy told me that his manager was at a meeting and an Android tablet was mentioned.

I'm not sure if this is something that was the primary topic, just talked about across the board, or just talked about at his meeting.

Can anyone else confirm of this coming up in areas other than Michigan?

I'm currently using a Blackberry Storm and I really like the OS and touch screen however I have been looking at some Android based phones for my next upgrade. Can anyone give me some advice? I love Blackberry but would be willing to switch if properly convinced.

Hello, I had two lines that have the LG chooclate and we keep having to mail it in and get a new one... I've had it do it 3 times on one line and 2 on another... Basically getting tired of th problems with that phone..I've called and asked if they give me another phone or something except that one and said no...Does anyone know how to bicker enough to get diff phones or credit to get another or how I would word it? So i become eligible for Ne2 next week and i am looking to get a droidx...which i am already preparing myself to wait a while. At the same time i am moving my fiance to my plan and we are going to do a family plan. She is currently on her mom's plan and i know i have to have her mom call in and switch the liability to me.

I am trying to figure out the easiest/best way to accomplish this without major issues. Although my fiance is not eligible for an upgrade right now; however, there are upgrades available on her mom's plan on other lines. First question would be can she use one of those other upgrades on her line? Secondly, when i assume the liability should i get my phone and assume the liability at the same time?

This may be a silly question but is this any advantage of buying a phone from Best Buy instead of the Verizon store? Do you still get the rebates and discounts?

Try your local Walmart, most received at least 2 and most still have them in stock for $199 and no mail in rebate.

You may have to rope an employee to help you, but its worth the hassle.

Does anyone know how to set different ringtones for contacts on the Droid X any help would be appreciated.

I would definetly use the "Pix to Retail" feature! Problem is this feature is only currently available on the Droid X, it would be nice if Moto & Google put this feature on the original Droid.

Maybe when the Droid gets the 2.2 update? What do you all think? Any chance of seeing the "Pix to Retail" feature coming to the Droid?

Hey guys i need to figure out what is going on because i retrieved 4 apps onto my device and when i go to load up the apps they tell me "Unknown Error (1)" and it did this to me for the other ones too. Does anyone know a solution to this because i just activated the phone earlier with Verizon??

Just got the Samsung and it is not bad, my voyager had a better touch screen though. anyways my question is this, At first, i use to get threads on my text from people and when i respond back, it would show "me" so when i go back to read the texts it can easily be read as a conversation thread. well lately, it is not coming up as a thread, well it is, but it is not showing my replies but only the persons reply to me. Can someone tell me why. I hope i am making sense.

So i am up for my new every two and i am stuck figuring out which phone to get.

I have tried to unlock the Droid X from the main programming screen. With the original Droid you could click each corner starting with the top left and move clockwise. Will that work on the Droid X? I have tried with no luck but could be pressing the wrong spots.
