What is Verizon's least expensive Family Plan?

Hi,

According to Verizon's website, the least expensive familyshare plan is $69.99 for the first two lines and $9.99 for each additional line. I need three phones but I don't necessarily need 700 minutes. I know when I went into the store for another carrier, there were other plans available that weren't listed online. Does anyone know if this is the case for Verizon as well? Thank you!

Getting phone in a VZW store VS getting phone at CC?

Just wondering if there's any difference between getting a phone in a Verizon Store VS getting it at Circuit City (which is a Verizon store I know) My concern is that if the phone is bad, tech support, etc. if I get it a CC and the VZW store won't help me because it wasn't bought at a VZW store. I have the feeling it doesn't matter, but I just want to be sure.

Can't order a new phone online for 6 months!

So I got the V325 back in December, and it sucked, so I returned it. Now I want to order the E815 online and they are telling me that you have to wait 6 months before getting another phone online! I don't have the time to get to the stores, plus I want the $50 instant online rebate. So they tell me that they don't state that anywhere on their web site, but it's the "system" that sets those rules. I think that's a load of c**p and that they can't just make up rules as they see fit. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB if their online orders department (closed on Sat. nights and Sundays of course) won't help me with this.

AirCard w/ voice plan

The promotion in my market is this:

Unlimited broadband service for aircard:

WITH voiceplan: $59.99

WITHOUT voiceplan: $79.99

Customer came in today and mentioned he had an aircard w/ Verizon, and I suggested he activate a phone w/ Verizon so he could save money on his monthly bill for his aircard

Question: Does this $20 price drop automatically go into effect? Or do I need to call customer care to change his rate? I'm assuming I have to call customer care for this, which I did..and the care rep wasn't aware of the promotion and was unsure of the answer. Does anyone know for sure?

I had a GOOD cust. service experience, despite what DKVZW might want you to think

I have a corporate discount on my plan, which gets me 20% on the line and 25% on accessories through the site. I tried purchasing an accessory by going into my account on VZW's site and selecting the item I wanted. The discount didn't show up.

I called customer service today, explained that I wanted the extended-life battery for my phone (E-815), asked if it included the cover to go over the larger battery, she confirmed that it did. She then processed the order, including the discount. However, when she told me the before-discount price it was $20 less than the price listed on the site, for the same item. She verified that the order she was placing was what I wanted, offered me insurance on the item which I declined since I have TEC...

moto 815 or v3c

What is everyones take on the e815 versus the V3C. I currnetly have the 815 but like the sleekness of the v3c and I don't really care too muhc about the transflash, but I would like to be able to connect my the v3c to my laptop.

Does the 815 get better speeds than the v3c.

Also I am in a very unique situation with verizon. I have the ability to upgrade my e815 for the v3c for free or get out of my contract for free.

I have tried out CINGY's 2125 which is really my ideal phone because of the smartphone capabilities but I can't make a decision if I should jump ship or stay where I am and tough it out for the Q or somehting better. Any input??

Buying out Contracts...

If a major carrier (i.e. Cingular, T-mobile, Alltell, etc.) offered to buy out your contract to go with their service, (by buying out means paying the ETF to get you over to their service) would you switch and who would you want to buy out your contract?

I ask because there is a rumor that AMP'd and T-mobile may be working on doing just that in the coming year.

Playing mpegs on your phone

I apologize to anyone who already knew this, but I decided I'd better share the info for those who didn't. If you want to play videos from your computer on your vcast phone, you need to convert them to 3g2 format and add them to your "My Flix" file. Here is a link to a conversion tool. I couldn't get it to play/convert WMV, but it does play 3g2 videos, and will play Mpeg and convert it to 3g2 so you can put it on your phone.

The tool is through Nokia, bless them.

Teletech Holdings, Inc?

Apparently these are CSR subcontractors for Verizon Wireless, is this still in-effect today?

(Yes I know all companies do this thanks).

PINK RAZR IS COMING TO VERIZON

The pink razr is coming to Verizon before Feb. 14, this phone is for all the ladies that like the razr and like pink. This razr is going to be $349.99 with a two year contract. (There is probably going to be a mail in rebate). This razr is a pale pink so it is not as bright as the T-Mobile Version. (I think) I got this info for VZW Customer Service

Worry free Guarantee Gone on Feb 1st. 2006

According to Verizon Wirless

The Worry Free Guarantee -
ability to switch teers of minutes with-in your existing contract will be gone as on Feb 1st. 2006. So if you have 900 minutes and want to ether upgrade or downgrade you'll extend your contract.

Verizon Wireless has said they've mailed this to all the paper based billing customers.

Indirect Agents

Why is it that employees that work for VZW corporate stores look at Indirect Reps like they are worthless and do not know anything about the wireless industry?? I don't quite understand it. Being competitive is great, but the way some people talk about us "Indirect Reps" really gets out of hand. I know plenty of people who have worked for indirect agents for years, myself included, probably longer then some of the VZW Reps that talk garbage about us. What is the need?? I understand that all stores have their fair share of complaints, and let me tell you, corporate stores are most definitely included in that.

I am not trying to start an argument or anything I just seriously want to know why so many VZW Reps think they are so high abov...

Question on 950 & 8100 and VCAST Music PROMO

Both these phones, and an audiovox all now have the VCAST Music available, but it seems like in-store ads, on the Verizon Wireless website and TV commercials that they are only advertising the 950. Why is that?
