Phone prices
I was curious what the industry standard was as far as dropping prices, if there is one. Do they fall when newer phones come out, when the sales of the phone fall, or does it just depend on the carrier?
New Every 2 phone return
Thanks to anyone who has any answers for me.
Contract Question
How long do i have to use the discounts on a new phone once they become eligible (I am not using NE2 because I was only on a 1yr contract, so I only get a discount/rebate)? Also, what happens if I do not cancel but i don't reactive my contract either? Will it automatically sign me up for a new year or just go month to month?
Thanks in advance.....

V-CAST Music
I would like to hear the opinion of current and former V-Cast subscribers regarding the value of the service. It seems to me that you have to pay for each individual download of music, 3D games and most videos. The only thing that the subscription fee gets you are downloads to a few non-fee based news/sports/weather videos.
I think the service would generate greater revenue and drive customer retention/addition if anyone who purchased a V-Cast capable phone was automatically given a...

2)can I use an indirect agent since I am month to month?
3)Should I sign up again through VZW without buying a new phone? or should I get a new phone and sell it on ebay? or should I get a new phone and sell my current v710? (I don't use bluetooth or anything right now.

EVDO Router due out Feb 1 (plug in EVDO card or current phone)
Well on Feb 1st an affordable EVDO router will be available from Kyocera/Dlink. While a few other EVDO routers already exist, they cost $700 or more. This one is fully featurd and only costs $200
This is going to change the EVDO Card industry as we know it. Just go out and buy a Verizon or Sprint EVDO card, plug it into the router, and SHazaam! You now have wifi internet for all your wifi internet enabled devices. Take it to work, take it on vacation, take it to a hotel, to a board meeting, give everyone wifi access to the internet.
While at the CES show in vegas I was looking at this box adn talking with a rep from Kyocera. Whi...

Q4 Results Due Soon - Is Verizon Just Gonna Romp Again?
For what its worth, I kinda hope Verizon DOESN'T smoke everyone like it has been the last several quarters.
While I love the service & CS (which has been great), I'm gettin' kinda sick of VZW's feature-crippling ways (bluetooth, mp3s) and would like to see SOMEONE put the fear o' god into 'em and make 'em 'play nice' with their customers.
Unfortunately, I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. The competition jus' doesn't seem like its there yet. ☹️
Prepaid Question- Mobile Office Kit
Mobile Office kit, teethering and inpulse
Can you use the mobile office kit, to teether a verzion cell phone- if it's under the "inpulse plan" prepaid plan?
can you use the mobile office kit to teether a verzion cell phone- if it under the "Easy Pay" prepaid plan?
Do you have to use the "mobile office kit" or verzion supplied "data cable" to get on the internet via teethering to the laptop? Can you use other third party software or does it have to be verzions? Can you use the data cable thats you can get off the internet?
Is using the mobile office kit faster than dial up?
Or would it be better to use the kit to call out to another isp?

Add a line for $9.99 will cost you $19+ with Insurance or $14+ w/o in NYC
---------------
Add a line for $9.99 will cost you $20-/+ with Insurance or $14-$15 +/- w/o in NYC. Thats about 34% more than advertized.
Early term will cost you about $210 and change in NYC (not $175).
Whatever price plan you're on, you're paying about 20% more in fees in NYC.
So if you're on a $99.99 Plan You'll pay about 116.00 to 120.00.
If you have a two year contract thats $384(low estimate) $480/high estimate in Surcharges and Taxes.
Ok This is what i think

Motorola Q
A Bit-o-Help
I have a bit of a dilemma that I hope you can help me with.
I currently work in the Midwest for a Verizon Agent. Over the past year we have developed a bit of a problem. I have phones that need to have repairs made to them, but I really don't know where to send them. I have sent back as many to VZW as possible, but due to esn/box mismatches and such not all can be returned.
I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a good repair center that works on multi-manufactures phones. I know I could send to the Manufactures repair center, but with what they charge it makes it very uneconomical to do so.
Do you know of a repair center that’s reasonable and does quality work in a timely manner, if so, let ...

When will Verizon listen to their customers?
Increase minutes without extending contract?
I'm on a 450 minute $39.99 rate plan and would like to jump up to the next tier just this month to avoid going over my minutes. Problem is, I was told I was on an "older rate plan" so changing my plan would mean extending my contract which I'm not sure I want to do.
I thought part of the "worry free guarantee" was that you could change your plan anytime without extending your contract. I'm confused as to how I can be on the older plan when my current plan is still listed on Verizon's website.
Is there any way ...
