OK, so first off i understand everyone and i mean everyone has different tastes and ideas about what they want in a phone, i also know that the demand for new phones is at a all time high and i also understand the business politics which must go on in the verizon offices. With that being said, i believe verizon has lived off its past, it has cashed in on it's superior network and call clarity. But the competition is catching up and i really dont think vzw see's any threat and only produce middle of the road technology phones and w/ very little selection of styles.

It is like building the autobon but only being able to drive a Yugo on it, it is like creating the greatest and must plush resturant but only serving hamburgers and hotdogs....

So there seems to be some fallout from Verizon's music download service -- users who choose to "upgrade" their handsets to support the Verizon Wireless music store are doing so at a tradeoff: you'll no longer be able to play MP3s on your phone. I'm pretty new to all of the cell phone technology, but I was trying to purchase a new phone since my old Samsung one has basically died on me (but that's another story).

My friend told me about unlocked phones, and so I was wondering if anybody has gone this route. There's a blue Razr I wanted, but I'm nervous as to these online companies. Are they credible? Where did they get these phones from? Are they refurbished overseas phones? And most importantly, will I be able to use it with my Verizon service? (It says on the website it's GSM bands/frequencies are: 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 - but I have no idea what that means). I have the internet on there as well...will that transfer over?

I e-mailed Verizon directly too, but they haven't...

Is there any way to redirect where to phone is sent to for Vcast? I'm wondering if there's any way to write a "MeCast" page.

I am currently using a Nextel phone and don't want to have to retype 400 telephone numbers. Do any of VZW current phones use a SIM card or do any of them have the ability for me to upload from a .CSV file? Thanks to all.

Weird situation. A friend of mine has loved to ditch me and a lot of her friends on a continuous basis. It's like she makes plans with you, then gets off the phone and does it with somebody else, and then acting surprised when you as if she is ready...

Anyways, I think I can catch her at it this time...

She has Verizon, and supposedly her balance is past due, so that means her service is suspended. What I don't get is, she received the call on her cell phone. She says that when your service is suspended you can receive calls and texts, but not make calls or texts. This sounds really fishy...it has to be...what do you guys know?

Please tell me someone knows of any new phones coming out for Verizon service. I know of the new Samsung A930, but does anyone else know of any other phones for Q1??? Someone has to know.

what happens if you replace your phone with the same phone under warranty, then the phone gets the same problem. so you get a third one under warranty... and that one messes up too....

do they upgrade you or anything like that because in theory this could go on forever

a few months ago, i started having problems with my phone when I was in my house. I had the V710 at the time and my phone would jump from the digital signal to analog back and forth and i wouldn't be able to make any phone calls or receive any phone calls. at the time i thought it was the V710 because of all the little problems it seemed to have.

after various conversations with customer service, they ended giving me an E815. i get home...and it's even worse now because the 815 doesn't even have an analog feature. i can't make any calls from my house.

is there anything i can do about this? i don't think it's my house because i have lived there for 5 years now and have had verizon for 3 years and it had worked fine until recently. veri...

i recently was eligible for the new every two and was excited about the new razr so i went and got it from a verizon store, but the sales rep advised me to carry around my charger with me because he said you do not get more than 90 min talk time on it and he was right. so after a few days i returned it and started looking at the new nokia flip phone, but it is really ugly looking. so as of now i have 6 months to use my new every two before i lose out on it. i was looking at the e815 but it is a big phone and it is not that new. so i was wondering if anyone had more specific info on the release of the samsung a930 or pics of it. or any other new non-pda type phones coming out soon for verizon. thanks a lot a head of time.

Just wondering if any info is available yet on the Samsung a930. Is it on infomanager? Anyone know of any possible release info besides Q1 2006?

I don't think this has been clearly answered yet, and maybe it's info that cannot be divulged, but can anyone answer me this....Is there any other benefits of getting an 8100 flashed with V06 besides MOD? Does it fix any issues, change anything else on the phone?

I don't know when the Wireless Worlds Protagonist against unsolicited this or that (Do Not Call, Wireless Directory, SMS Spam) (Danny et. al.) Verizon Wireless decided that its cool to put free spam on your paper bill.

Usually appearing on the first (color lazer printed page) I wonder how they assemble it back together correctly if the other 3 or 4 are printed on less-than black and white copier paper.

However this color printed page (that also has the red stripe has the ability to carry any colorful spamvertising VZW got paid for)
