Verizon has two good phones I like:

I am glad Verizon got the RAZR. That will bring them back into the no 1 slot. I also like that nokia flip camera phone you all have, oh and that samsung phone with video, v cast, etc is cool too.

Verizon has finally come out with great phones!

Verizon Bluetooth Phone/Headset Combination (NO ECHO)

I am looking for a combination from Verizon that doesn't have an echo.

I have tried the 8100 which echos unless the volume on the handset is all the way down.

I have tried the E815 with 3 different headsets and again the person on the other end hears echos no matter what (volume all the way down, etc.)

Is there a phone or a combination of phone and headset that works well and doesn't have this echo problem to the person you are calling?

Thanks for any help.

Using Moto V3 as a modem

I just received my moto v3 and I know with cingy service you can use it as a modem for your computer. What software/hardware is needed in order to make this happen? I appreciate all your help in advance.

cingular new plans - verizon should be ashamed!!!

cingular recently came out with 2 new family plans:
$49.99 450 minutes
$59.99 550 minutes

for those of us that rarely use our phone to call someone outside the IN network, the lowest price family plan of $69.99 700 minute plan is way to much for some of us. verizon does not give us a choice of anything lower and as our contracts expire, the lower priced cingular plans look tempting.

please don't start a flame was about one carrier being better/worse than another. i'm just upset that cingular has more/better options for their customers and verizon does not ☚ī¸

Motorola Q on Verizon

I've never owned a Windows Mobile based phone before on Verizon but I'm looking to maybe get the Q when its released. I'm wondering if Verizon will cripple the phone in any way or change the UI? Or do they only do this to non Windows devices?

question on service in my area

I'm not real happy with my current service provider and I'd like to try a new one. Verizon is one of my options. I know it's suppose to get good coverage, but I live in a pretty rural area and I'm not sure that it will. I don't want to sign up for a one or two year commitment and then end up not having service where I need it? I know they usually have coverage maps, but they don't seem very reliable. Is there some way to find out before I sign up? If not there really should be. Thanks.

Consumer Reports and future of the #1 spot

Is anyone surprised Verzion took the #1 spot in 17 of the 18 markets surveyed and statistically tied with US Cellular in Chicago? This is 3 consecutive years VZW has been the clear leader in customer satisfaction and network reliability. Cingular received low marks in all of the markets surveyed also mentioning that static is a widespread problem. At this rate, I predict that VZW will overtake Cingulars "#1" spot, obviously in terms of customer base only, by the end of the 2nd quarter 2006.

Verizon UI-Why different on differnt phones??????????

Just curious....I know Verizon is going with the new UI on all the phones so they are uniform, but if that's the case, then why do some offer options that others don't? For instance, on the 8100 you can change the size of the font, but you can't on the RAZR or the 950. That's just one. I've notices several differences. Can someone please explain?

will the 6256 have the VZW UI ?

The 6256 I bought at Best buy has the stinky Nokia Interface

Problem is the call list is bizarre.. You press send and only see who you called. Not who called you

I hope VZW fixes this

Also the Voice dialing is the worst on this phone but the call quality is great and signal strength is great

odds of unlocked phones?

What are the odds of getting an unlocked CDMA phone that's not 3y old? how come I can't take a sprint phone & put it with verizon's service? Isn't that illegal antitrust bundling...to force ppl into a specific catalog of phones to partake in service? It's not as if the producer of a quality phone NEEDS verizon...

Getting a new phone.

I am either going to give my wife the Nokia 6256 and I'll take her LG VX8100, or I'll go with a Moto E815. My V710 took a good throw...I mean drop yesterday and I broke it. I am eligible for an upgrade. I loved the performance of my phone so I am thinking the E815. The only thing I wonder. Can you play the MP3's with the flip closed? And access them with it closed? Thank you.

Hollywood e815

Does anyone know if the Hollywood version of the e815 will work on Verizon? And do you guys think that Verizon will ever come out with the walkie-talkie feature like the Hollywood phone already has?

LG6100 Echo/Feedback

I have a LG6100... no major complaints.
Recently I experienced a brief almost echo
of myself at the end of a sentence at times.
I had a flash done at Verizon...reinstall
software. When I spoke to the Verizon rep...
he told me that several people have also
experienced this.....
I live in New York City.
I contacted Verizon (611) with this
information. They said it will be looked
into. I have the most recent software on the
phone and have used star 228.
Any ideas or help.
Thanks

Does Verizon Offer an Educational Discount?

I know someone who teaches school.. is there any kind of educational discount that Verizon offers her? I read Cingular offers a 'Premier' discount to some educational folks, wonderin' if VZW is similar.

V-CAST Music Launch...

http://www.engadget.com/2005/12/22/verizon-to-debut- ... »

Notice the "new music capable handset" quote. That means that all of us who just got the V3c are screwed again. First, no MP3 player unlike the V3i and now no V-CAST Music capability.
