Full retail on the 6700 PDA phone?

So here is my dilemma and what I want:

1) I want two new phones and am not impressed with the phones that Sprint offers and they will at this point in time only give me a $75.00 credit for each line.

2) Am moving to Colorado and have read that Sprint does not rate as high as other carriers.

3)HATE SPRINT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ALWAYS WAIT ON HOLD FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES

I'm looking for a good low-end phone from Verizon for my wife's parents (I said grandparents because Dad is in his 80s :-)

Basically, I want something very simple with excellent reception...or, at least, the best of the simple, low-end phhones.

They don't need anything other than voice. Which one of the low-end phones would you recommend?

Current VZW and Cingular owner. I just purchased the Cingular 2125 but I before I completley jump to CINGY I was wondering if anyone knew of anything new coming out? I know about the Q, but anyhthing else and also anyone have a firm date on the Q?

I just realized something. If I have a Treo 650 or 700w and have the unlimited $40-$50/month data plan ($40 w/ voice $50 w/out voice correct?) and then I want to connect my laptop as well, since the DUN bluetooth profile is disabled on VZW Treo's that means I have to in addition to the $300+ for a Treo buy a $200 card for my notebook AND pay ANOTHER $40-$50/month for an additional unlimited data plan?

If this is currently accurate then it's something VZW (and anyone else setup this way) needs to look into and work out, cause that's a rip off.

Can someone verify if that's accurate or not?

was just wondering if anyone had any info on an exact date for the release of the samsung a930, besides first quarter of 06. or also any specs on the phone, i am suprised that phonescoop has not released anything for it yet either, which doesn't bode well for the release date of the phone. so far from what i know of the phone sounds really good, it has almost any function anybody would want, from mp3 player to bluetooth. im glad i returned the razr and got my money back and my credit for new every two so now i can get the a930 when it comes out. anybody with more info? thanks

1-Can you use your mp3s or wma files that you stored on your external memory (flash cards, mini flash and etc..) as your ringtones with the lg8100, sch950, moto e815, v710?

does anybody know a proposed timeline to deploy Ev-DO in the Nashville area? We're a relatively large city, compared to alot of the areas that do have it. We also have a very busy airport. It just seems strange that Knoxville in East Tennessee and ghetto-ass Memphis in West Tennessee both have Ev-DO, but the state capitol, Nashville, does not.

Does anyone have any info on a possible release of a black razor?

So I had the Motorola V325 under my NE2 and I returned it. It was received on December 30th according to the FEDEX tracking number. I called last week to make sure it was received and that my NE2 was reset and my contract expiration date was reset. The woman who answered said that she did show via the tracking number that it was received, but that it takes the warehouse up to two weeks! to notify them that the phone has been returned. My v60s has seen better days and I don't know if I can wait two more weeks to get a new phone, does it really take that long? Should I just call back every few days and ask for a status? Anything I can do to speed up the process? Thanks.

I have a Treo 650, been pretty good, but want to upgrade to the 700. My wife is up for her new every 2, and wants my phone for the calendar aspect etc, so is willing to buy the Treo 700 with her 100 off and then we have verizon swap our phones.

Am I going to run into any obstacles with them when I do this.. I was planning on going in there and telling them what I want to do, so it can be purchased / transferred right then.

I'm currently a USCC user and have been looking to switch carriers. I know alot of people in my area (small town in North Iowa) that have great luck with their Verizon service so I decided to give them a call. I called their 1-800 customer service number and when the guy asked me where I was calling from and I told him, he said that "he can not sell to me bacause I am not in their licensed area", and then he hung up. Whats up wtih that? I know many people who use Verizon in my area but yet he won't sell to me. The closest authorized dealer is 75 miles away, but I'd gladly drive their if that means i could get a decent cell phone provider. Can I not sign up for Verizon now? Why is EV-DO taking so long to deploy over teh entire Verizon network?

If I remeber correctly it only took Cingular about a year or two to completely overtap TDMA with GSM. I really want an EV-DO phone but EV-DO coverage is only available in select areas around me.

I've been using the V3C for a couple of weeks now . The phone reception seems very week. Where I used to get 4 bars I am now getting 1. I seem to have alot of static when using the phone with the BT headset. Has anybody else had these problems? Is there a fix?

hi, my friend has the lg vx8000 and recently its quit letting her download ringtones. she had about 20 and the memory said that it was full yet 3% was used. she deleted over 5 songs and alot of pictures and it still said full. so she took it too the store and they replaced it since i was under the 1 year warranty. low and behold, the 2nd time the phone only let her download about 14 songs, even after she deleted the preset ringtones and had no pictures. she took it back and they did a "firmware" repair and gave it back to her "fixed". not even out of the parking lot and nothing on the phone is different, still error messages but this time 7% is full. she takes it back and gets another one and we fear that shes going to have the same p...
