Is there anything I should know? Should I put anything special in my ebay posting? I had it replaced right before I bought my new phone, so this phone only has about 4 minutes of calltime on it. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Amp’d Mobile Ince and Verizon Wireless

Amp'd Mobile Inc. is moving closer to the launch of its mobile virtual network operator service, saying it's planning a soft launch of services on Dec. 15. Amp'd Mobile has said its service will target the increasingly attractive youth market and differentiate itself by offering wireless multimedia applications using Verizon Wireless' CDMA2000 1x EV-DO network. The soft launch plans include allowing consumers that have signed up for service through the company's Web site to begin customizing their handsets, which are to be shipped before the end of the year.

Amp'd Mobile also said it plans to offer a downloadable music service that mimics Apple Computer Inc.'s iTunes service in charging customers ...

I must live in this microverse where not that many bad things happen to me. My phone (moto815) has never dropped a call. I live in Ken Caryl (anyone familiar with colorado knows and dreads this patch of dirt) yet I have few probems. Any electronic device (an Emachine with a faulty modem, a DISH DVR 522) that i've ever hand problems with was taken care of in a proper and timely fassion. The one real time I had a situation drag on was regarding my DSL when I had it first activated. I made the mistake of giving the wrong address so my modem as delayed a week in shipping, and an extra week because my line was not provisioned. I was kinda miffed, but I never really got mad.

Back in August I made contact with a Verizon Rep who handled discounts for USG employees (I was a State Department Retired Foreign Service Officer and he informed me that I qualified for the discount) - at that time I purchased two LG 8100s that were heavily discounted and my Verizon plan was set up with an 18% discount. After a week we returned the phones because of the problems we were having with them - we informed Verizon that we would wait until some better phones were released and then we would come back in. They told us our account would remain for six months.

Since we're ready to jump back in - I called this rep today but his message indicated he is no longer with Verizon. I am just wondering who I might call (other than custom...

Ok we all know by now that Radio Shack will no longer sell Verizon next year but is it just here where I live or is this also happening in other places. But over here in an area of NC I am seeing Verizon wireless stores and also Verizon wireless exclusive agents popping up next to radio shacks that are in the mall. There are two malls over here that never housed a Verizon store just Radio Shack and since the up coming fall out, seems like Verizon is preparing for this already.

although this subject has been beaten to a pulp, and its been avaiable online for a few days, i can't believe that NOONE posted that we started selling the razr in store..starting today, instead of the 12th. they pushed the launch up a few days, at least in the philly region, but i'd imagine everywhere. This is direct stores of which i speak, i don't know about indirects. for those of you who can't stand to wait 2 days for fed ex (or overnight even), run to the stores and pick em up. or is the razr old news now?

So, if you buy a phone on ebay, how do you know the phone is legit? I mean, it's one thing to see that the phone is in perfect condition, but how do you know that it hasn't been stolen?

So Circuits, home depots, and best buys I believe are the only ones selling the PN 215 and since it seems like a crap phone I was wondering if anyone had feedback on the quality of phones pantech makes. I know they use to market through audiovox/utstarcom. They are also japans second largest phone manufacture. The phone is a bogo for 30 bucks so if people want to buy it I want to have something positive to tell them about pantech.

My significant other and I both have Verizon, she renewed her 2 year agreement and excercised her NE2 a few months ago. My plan is a new customer 2 year as of a few months ago. We both want to get the Treo 700W when it is released and we're considering moving into a family plan together and adding a line.

If we do this, would that reset the NE2 so to speak and allow us to get the Treo's at the Ne2 price?

Also, on one of the Treo's we'd want to get unlimited data, would that apply to both Treo's to use or just the one? If we wanted unlimied on both would we have to buy two unlimited data plans on our family plan?

It appears as though I won't be getting that 6256i after all....there were just too many complications with trying to get that while keeping my NE2 and renewing a B2B account.

After much deliberation, it appears as though I will be getting the LG vx9800. That's fine with me. I wanted the OBEX, but will be perfectly happy with having a qwerty keyboard instead. I also got a killer deal on it through our B2B rep.

If you get a easy pay plan, can you get vcast, they have a special $15 vcast vpak?
I no id have to purchase a vcast capable phone, i want a prepay but i also want to get the extras also. Also if they get a special on texts could i also get that?

I was just comparing my LG 6100 to the RAZR to see if I could justify the switch and was wandering how do you hear the RAZR ring. On VZW web site it states that the 6100 has 41 ring tones and for ring tones on the RAZR is shows n/a. Now I have never counted the number of tones on my 6100 but for the RAZR to have none, man what am I paying for then.

That definitely sways my vote. If I won't be able to hear the thing ring then I'm not going to buy one.

Is it something I'm doing wrong or did Verizon strip the 6256I of everything including the wallpaper? The only thing on my phone is 2 wallpaper choices, Verizon and Verizon! No games (suppose to have 2), no Infared connection. What's going on???

All I ever read about these days is stories about a bad experenice on the customers side of things. I was wondering what are some of the wrost customer to handel experenices were.
