Alternative Verizon Website

Anyone know anything about the testman.verizonwireless.com website? I found a link to it on HowardForums. The reason I bring it up is because the v325 is already on that website (regardless of the zip code you put in), but the phone is not on the regular verizonwireless.com.

Me, it's all about me. Please Help.

Ok, so here's the deal. I went into a VZW store to get the VX9800 today. Here's the situation:

I still have 10 months left on my 2 year contract, but i have a plan that is 59.99 a month, so they told me I qualify for a 2 year upgrade. The VX9800 at Best Buy is 99.99, but at VZW it is 199.99. Can I do the upgrade at Best Buy or do I need to do this at a VZW store?

On a sidenote: If you would like to talk me out of getting the VX9800 now is your time to do so, or forever hold your piece. (I am not going to use the vcast or the camera, but I will use the qwerty keyboard, wireless sync, text messaging, wish it had a better scheduling system)

What are some good reasons to convince VZW to allow an early NE2?

Thanks.

Thank You!

Oh now I see why you are only a cellular rep. No education. WEATHER is the climate.... Whether is the correct word in your post.
And my experience through the past year with Verizon customer service has been less than excellent. This company is going backwards and it seems the others are going forward.
Just my opinion and it is my money that I spend. Principle is the problem. They show no loyalty and the HOLIDAY MINUTES were stopped NOT for July 4th BUT FOR LABOR DAY IN SEPTEMBER. As a rep you should know that fact.

This is what was said to me. What I like the most is that yes, I used an incorrect word. DID I GET MY POINT ACROSS!? I LOVE the people that say, oh no wonder your a customer servic...

Have Kyocera kx414 want to change esn to LG vx4400

I am unable to do this online. Why can't I do this online? I have used the 8 digit and 11 digit esn #s.
It seems that nothing is ever simple for me. The online change is great if it would work.

RAZR is with OBEX!!!

I know this is probably an old news, but I'm still wicked excited! 😁 Verizon V3c aka RAZR does have an OBEX bluetooth profile! I was able to sync it with my i730 via bluetooth and send the mp3 ringtone over! I didn't test the pics, but I'm pretty sure it's going to work as well! No need to wait for the "official" release of Nokias, I'm waiting for RAZR! 😛

Trying to pick between Nokia, Motorola and LG for new phone

It's time for a new phone. I really like the Nokia 6256i, the LG 9800, or the Motorola v710. The only one I can still buy from Verizon is the LG, but it's not tri-mode, and I kind of wanted that feature. The Nokia is tri-mode, and as well as being blue tooth also can communicate via IR. I'm leaning toward the Nokia. It says it requires some kind of optional headset for the FM radio option to work, is that expensive? A friend has the Motorola v710, and really likes it.

With the price that Verizon is currently offering the LG may be least expensive, though it sounds like there may be ways to get the Nokia for less.

Ideas, good and bad experiences with any of those phones, or other suggestions would be appreciated.

I heard from a very reliable source within VZW that Razr will launch in 2 weeks at best buy stores only. Fact or Fiction 😲

Signal Strength

i was on cnet.com and i came across an artice that talked about how CDMA works and how GSM works, and what the bars mean. i just wanted to know if this info was accurate. here is the whole artice

"Hello guys,

There are some other things to keep in mind when we talk about cell coverage.

GSM is based on another technology called TDMA (Time Division Multiple access). In a few words, users share a single radio channel by taking turns "talking" and "listening" on the frequency. CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) works differently in that everybody "talks" and "listens" at the same time, the phone and the cell tower "tuning out" all other irrelevant signals. It's more complicated than that, but that's basically how it works.

Now, wit...

Internet Sellers like Let'stalk.com

I am looking to move to Verizon from Cingulat at the beginning of the year. I keep seeing these ads on this forum for companies like Let"s Talk.com that offer the Motorola E815 for free with rebates. Has anybody had any experience with this type of way to initiate service? Can they port numbers over? What do you do while the phone is in transit? As you can see I have some questions about whether these sites are not scams and if they are reliable how does the process work.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

VZW wants me back! I don't think so...

I left VZW back in August. I went to a GSM carrier. Shortly after leaving, with my last bill Vz sent me a "sorry you're leaving" letter. In this letter they talked about how big and good their network is and blah blah... a little further down in this letter it implied that after trying other carriers they were pretty sure I'd come back.
Well, I haven't. I'm very happy with Cingular. I'm happier than the 1st time I tried Cingular (when they first rolled out GSM) Anyway, it's been almost 4 months since I left, so I got another letter. This one is a "checking on you" letter. Why is it that they think that no other carrier is better than them? I find this very arrogant and annoying. If I get another letter I'm going to find the time to call th...

Nokia Flip

I understand from a VZW Store Manager, who handles my account that the Nokia Flip will be available in the Chicago Market. Any feedback on phone and/or availability date?

Don't want to find old thread. 🙄

Thanks
