I had a verizon phone for almost 4 years before recently switching. I was wondering if anyone else has trouble getting service inside buildings with their verizon phone. Whenever I was in a store or any building it did not get service. I have recently switched to Sprint and my phone works inside buildings and also seems to work better than my previous verizon phone.
I live in the chicago area and work in the downtown area.

On the Nokia website, I can order 3 6256i's for $150 w/ a 2yr agreement.........BUT, there is an $85 activation fee associated. I am not asking if I can have this waived, but I do want to know if it applies to someone who already has a contract and is renewing.

Ok I have had a 4000 minute plan for the past 2 years yet when I try to sign up for the merit rewards program it says my number is not eligible.

I'm new to Verizon. I haven't figured much of this out yet, but , I was able to email myself an mp3 ringtone at my#@verizon.com, etc... Is this all free??? I mean, I know it takes up my minutes.. but does it cost any MORE than that for sending this data from www.funformoble.com???

I usually don't talk about cingy unless I'm hacking on them 😳 , but there is no denying 1500 min for 50bucks is an outstanding deal even on the cingy network. I wonder what verizon has going on as a promo or in this case are they just going to let cingy promo ride. What do you guys think?

Customer brings in a phone - LG3200, originally a VZW phone has had it flashed to another carrier to use on their service. Realize that they want to bring it back to verizon service. We send them to a corporate store that has a machine (our store is indirect and corp store is 2 hours away). The customer comes back to the store and says that they wouldn't flash it. Saying something about that corp is not flashing phones to VZW software from any carrier. Even though it was a VZW phone in the first place.

Could someone give me a reason why this is? Is it because that VZW is losing money on phones when people flash?

I keep hearing the Samsung 950 is a great little phone except that it tends to drop calls. I also heard an interesting rumor that having it in a case enhances the signal and reduces the dropped calls. I can't see the mechanism behind this, but I thought I'd ask some of you out there who have one. True or not?

Ok I am patiently awaiting the release of this phone into the Verizon Wireless world.
What I want to know is the headset options.

Doest it have just "Bluetooth" as an option for the headset or did I read somewhere that there was an adapter that plugs into the small "USB" end of the phone.

I must own 6 regular headsets which is why I am asking.

So... like the Big Red "V" uses *228(99) to update/ota a phone's PRL. What about other (cdma) carriers? How do say, cricket, or T-Mobile or any other cell provider update tower lists on phones?

Does anyone know: If I purchase a phone online from VZW, am I able to exchange it in person at my local VZW store, if necessary (or do I have to send it back in to VZW Online)?

With the Nokia 6256 nobody can record something and put it as a ringtone. Are all Verizon phones like this?
