I was wondering. I am wanting to get the 6256i with my NE2 through a b2b account. It isn't available in stores, but now you can even get it from nokia direct.
My question is this:

Will I be able to order the phone through my b2b rep even though it is not officially available direct from VzW?

I'm posting this because I just thought of this and I am at work, so I can't call my representative.

Will any of the new promos come close to this deal. Cingulars deal is pretty aggresive, not to mention if they include rollover and unliimitd in network calling... As a loyal VZW customer, they sure got my attention with that one.

VZW better launch before Cingular - we are waiting to buy 75 units. First come first serve 😛

Seems as if VZW is keeping what the new holiday promo is,and thats even if they have one.Has anyone heard about new promos or if mail in rebates will be extended?

do you think them changing their name again will discourage new customers, or encourage them?

Hi, I am a USCC customer in the Southern Oregon/ Northern California market. I have been hearing some rumors that verizon is looking into purchasing this market. I was wondering if anyone else from this end of the sectrum has heard anything about this. (personnally i think it would be a good idea, it would make it so i wouldn't roam in all the area's i travel, i.e. Portland, Washington, Southern California, which are already Verizon owned).

which should I get and why?

I much prefer the full qwerty keyboard to the smaller version, even though I can see why some people might like the smaller version, I like the qwerty because it feels like you are typing on a real keyboard, but this smaller qwerty is almost no difeferent than text messaging.

I am writing in hope that this isn't true...

I called my local VZW store yesterday and asked about Black Friday. The customer service guy told me that they are doing a huge sale on that day and could not tell me much more. When I inquired about my NEED to have the 9800 he said it wasn't part of their sale. I made whimpers at him and nothing changed his mind. I asked about the 8100 and he said... "I'm not saying no. And there will be other great phones as well."
I asked him when the deals would be announced or if I just needed to call back on Friday. He said, "You may see one commercial on TV."

I am hoping someone can tell me more. I really want to hear that he was misinformed about the store excluding the 9800 from the sale... ...

Is it just me or does anybody else think that all these post regarding the MOTOROLA Razor should be in the MOTOROLA forum? And likewise for the NOKIA 6256 should be in the NOKIA forum?

It is really getting hard to find anything useful on this forum because you have to shift throught 100's of the same threads asking for release dates of the 2 phones. How bout instead of 20 people asking the same question, those people should just look throught the past 2 pages and virtually everything that is known will be answered.

I am considering applying to be a Verizon Wireless in store rep. What are the pros, cons?! Verizon reps, anything you can tell me would be most humbly appreciated! :-)

I just got a Nokia 6256i, which replaced my old Nokia 3589i -- an upgrade deal. Now that the old phone was deactivated, should it be considered "unlocked" and ready to be activated for any other Verizon account? I am thinking of Ebay, but I want to make sure it'll be usable for other people. Thanks.
