I have a question about my verizon wireless phone. I accidentally dropped by phone yesterday and it no longer works. When i take it to the verizon store, will i recieve another one for free? Am i allowed to get a different phone as long as it was less expensive than my original one?

Verizon Password for V710

I just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon 😁 and wanted to know if it's possible to have your password automatically dialed instead of entering it every time. I don't mean by adding pauses or additional characters but when I receive a message - on my V710 screen automatically the voice mail features appears.

Blackberry vs. Treo 650

I am looking into getting a PDA/Phone for my Dad for Christmas but was wondering which one is better to get. My dad only needs the phone, calander, address book, and note taking functions all the other stuff is just extra. Does anyone who has used either or both of these have any opinions on which one is better?

Thanks for your help

Involuntary Ring ... or Silence!

I'm having some issues with Verizon service, and I don't know if it's the phone or the service?

My phone is normally set for VIBRATE, but sometimes it changes to RING LOUD or COMPLETE SILENCE. No rhyme or reason for this behavior. It just does it....

I had an early model LG UX 6000 camera phone. It worked good for awhile, but it was getting trashed by my usage, and I didn't like what it was doing.... changing from VIBRATE to something else. Quite annoying.

I figured it was an old phone, so when my 2 years were up, I signed up for another 2 year contract to get a new phone. I go the Motorola 815, which had been getting good reviews.

Unfortunately... same problem... even worse! Ugly menu too!

Suggestions?

Is the Razr going to have the Dreaded Low Battery Noise ?

Guys,

I have to tell you that the biggest issue I have with Moto Phones is when a E815 or V710 goes into Low Battery mode, it produces a horribly annoying Low Battery Chirp every few minutes and it can't be stopped.

This is a killer for most people that work or anyone who ever uses silent mode. It's unreal that when I spoke to Moto about this on the E815, they felt that was a good thing. I said to the guy (Who by the way was a product enginner for the E815) why does the person have to hear this over and over and over. After the first chirp, the person knows his battery is low. I asked him why when the phone is in SILENT mode why it does not stay silent and his answer was (Uhhhh) I don't know. This is the kind of stuff I can't deal with...

Nokia 6256i Owner's Manual Doesn't Explain How To Transfer Files Via BlueTooth

I am concerned about the lack of step-by-step instructions in the Verizon Nokia 6256i Owner Manual. BlueTooth is addressed only in a generic description of what BlueTooth does, plus the various BlueTooth profiles supported by this phone.

There are no instructions for transferring photo files to a BlueTooth computer or vice versa. There are only instructions on the phone and camera features.

How, then, is a person to know how to transfer files to a computer?

BTW: I went to the Apple Store today and bought a $50 BlueTooth adapter dongle: The D-Link USB BlueTooth Adapter DBT - 120. Now I am ready for getting that BlueTooth phone.

Don't travel much. I'm in the midwest. need a good palm pilot.

2nd question. It's important that I can access internet and have apprx 1000 min (or something comparable). What pkgs are good for this?

The time you give this post is greatly appreciated!
