They finally replaced the 650 with the 630 and the 670 with the 850 which are both sooo sick looking. The 950 is so amazing it makes me wish I could sign up all over again. the 9800 makes my 8100 want to shrivel up and cower in a corner. And with the RAZR just on the horizon I don't see how anyone could complain about Verizon's phone lineup. AMAZING, purely and simply amazing. But can the keep it up?

Anyone have any idea if Verizon will be eventually getting the new Nokia phones unveiled today? (see homepage of phonescoop).

The coverage locator in North Carolina and other states depicts extended enhanced service areas now. My question is does anybody know the plans as to how much they will expand this to? Will it just be important markets where they have no service, or will it be any place where 1x is available from another carrier? Any details would be appreciated.

I've been trying to persuade my mom to switch to Verizon, but she is hellbent on keeping Cingular because she thinks they will miraculously get better because they merged with AT&T adn they haven't 👿 ! I'm trying to get a plan in my dads name and pay him for it (I'm only 17).

for all of you fortunate Verizon users out there what type of phone should i get? i see some with internal antennas, stub antennas, and extendable antennas, which type of phone would you suggest? i would rather have more service than features i know some Cingular phones work better than others, does the same apply for Verizon phones?

does anyone have any idea how much of a monopoly Verizon is in the less populated states? They have the entire markets of both WYO and Montana! That is very smart business but the cingular and tmobile people say it's "not smart business to have towers and spend money on those states that have more cows than people"....
Well idiots, guess what. Verizon has a million extra people in EACH state who signed contracts with VZW because of the lack of choices!!!! Thanks Verizon!

I know this topic has been brought up a thousand times, but I was browsing the forums tonight looking for any updated info and didn't really see anything. And I have noticed there are a lot of Verizon reps and customer service people on here, so I was just curious if anyone had heard any updates on the release of the RAZR? I hear conflicting things about whether it will be released before or after the holidays...anyone heard any inside stuff???

Ok last night I was doing my normal monday rutine which is get off of work and watch NBC shows. Well at the time a commercial came on with this guy standing in front of a stadium. His friend walks up to him and the guy waiting says, " he man you are late." His friend then says "did you knot get my text." I'm not one to complain/ dump dirty laundry on forums but after yesterday I want to comment on this topic. I work in the NSA/BSC and when/if CS service level or queue hits a certain point we will get overflow to help out. Just from yesterday I could not believe the number of calls in one afternoon that I got saying "sales rep/agent at X store told me to just call customer service and they will credit all of your GIN downloads"

WOW,...come on guys/gals, help our CS teams out just alittle! At least give full details or set a proper expectation! Okay, this is just me venting a bit, but there is some good info in this post.

I would like to start off by saying, "For the love of $#%#% God!" I had some really bad/annoying people come in today with phone probs. Most of them could have been avoided if people remember a CELL PHONE IS AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE!!! Do not do anything to a cell phone you got for 50.00 on rebate that you wouldn't do to a 5,000 computer, or a TV.

Okay, first off, the physical condition of your phone comes into play VERY heavily when considering if we're going to exchange it. I don't care if it's only 3 months old. How come alot of times when a Verizon customer calls me on my cell phone will it show up as unknown caller? For instance I have my mom programmed into my phone and the good majority of the time she calls me it shows unknown caller? Keep in mind my mom just knows how to dial the numbers and thats it!! She hasnt messed with any features or anything like that AND it did the same thing with her totally different branded phone before AND I have seen others programmed in my phone who call and same thing. What's UP 😕

I'm looking for useful opinions, comments, and info (not flames) from those who have, have used, or tested any of the 3 phones mentioned above.

Related questions: Can the Motorola 815 use my existing Moto car and travel charger, connectors appear to be the same? Would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Note that the A950 appears on the Verizon web site for my area (Ga) today.
