Recently I've had a really terrible experience with Verizon customer service, who seem to be always rated the best in that area.

I live in NE Ohio halfway between Akron and Youngstown. I've been with Verizon for 3 years and have always had service in this area. In Oct. of 2004 I upgraded to a V710 and had been enjoying really fantastic reception in the area until Mon Sept. 26th. That day I could not manage to connect for more than 18 seconds on any call. So I called customer service.

First call: Tues, 27th. The first level of tech support was really unhelpful, explaining that I was on the edge of digital coverage and Verizon doesn't actually guarantee that their phones work everywhere, all the time. After explaining to him that it work...

I realize that Verizon and other carriers have no say in how the phones and accessories are engineered, but I just wondered if anyone knows why the phone manufacturers are making it so that you have to take the phone out of its holster in order to talk on it...I used have the LG510 and I loved that I could keep the clip on and talk at the same time. I dont even use the clip for my 4400 because I have to take it in and out...just curious if anyone knows why they're doing that now? Thanks!

I'm not going into the whole thing, it's pointless to argue, as most of the talk on this website.

However, All Customer Service Supervisors where let known today that if a customer calls in to disconect their serivce due to the $0.05 to $0.40 change, you have two options, receive the full $0.40 credit back on your bill till the end of your contract, (even though thats crediting you the $0.05 you already pay) or you can cancel your contract still AND PAY THE ETF.

Hi, I'm just wondering. Did anyone get any notice in the mail yet on it? i printed it out on the internet, and sent it in, and it mentioned that this is for the person it was addressed to. Also, did anyone mail it out, and get a response yet? any idea when i might expect one? also, any idea when they will settle? grrrrrrr this settlement is SooOooO vague, except for what you can settle for. Has anyone seen the VZW CDM 180 in Info Manager...such a darling little phone

I have a Treo650 with VZW. I can take photos and videos. I can email the photos from the phone but I have to use MMS which VZW charges me to use. Oh, I forgot to mention that I pay VZW $45.00 a month for unlimited data plan so I can use the phone to access the web and process email. Now you would think the $45.00 was enough for VZW but as I mentioned in order to send photos I have to use MMS and pay additional fees. MMS and SMS do not support video so I have no option for sending my videos from my Treo650. According to Palm’s customer service, VZW has locked out my option to attach files to my emails. I could send photos and videos to whomever I wish if I could attach the files to emails but VZW has locked that feature. Palm says the...

I was told be he sales rep at Verizon to wait a few days before upgrading my phone--he said with next week or 2, new phones from Samsung, Audiovox, and Nokia will be introduce. Several will be out on 10/11.

I heard this morning from a reputable source that the Nokia 6256i is supposed to be available on Verizon late next week or early the week after that. I would love to hear from those who have some technical knowledge whether I should be considering other handsets to replace an Audiovox 9500 I've been using for close to three years. Thanks!

Is anyone else having trouble with EROES when doing upgrades or priceplan changes? All the features will be correct and then the feature validate screen comes up and it has Unlimited Nights & Weekends and Unlimited Incalling rejected. This seems like a huge problem. If you don't pay attention those feature don't get added. You have to click accept so they'll get on the account.

Ok, so the person that sits beside me got a call few days ago from a customer, inq if we have any better rate plans available. The customer has been paying over $800 a month for her old 800 plan, that should be $59.99. Customer pays on time each month, never been late. Hasn't even called for a credit. WHY did this customer wait this long to call? I think I would notice if my 'should be' $59.99 bill was $800 consistently. 😕 😕 😕 Seems she was missing the unlimited night & weekend code. Wow. Yes, she got some offline time for some reworks! Also, got a call today, cus had over 25,000, yes twenty five THOUSAND text messages in one month. HOW? Did not ask for credit tho...I would have a FIT if I had 25k txt msgs! I get free text ...

I have a samsung a670 that ive had for about 4 months, the phone crashed and I cant recover it. I have no insurance, will verizon give me a new replacement phone?

okay i just got off the phone with customer service and they told me that they stopped carrying this phone because so many people complained. they complained about low signal strenght all the time, calls would go straight to voicemail even if they were in service, tons of dropped calls, and things of that nature. so if you have any problems with your a670 i would go to your nearest store and demand a new phone. if verizon wireless took this phone off the market becuase it wasnt working properly chances are you phone doesnt work properly! if you dont live near a store you can do this through customer service just call and they will assist you!
