Verizon Wireless to Launch Streaming Television
Verizon Wireless is expected to launch a streaming television service early next year using a network being deployed by tower company Crown Castle International Corp. Verizon Wireless currently offers a streaming service through its CDMA2000 1x EV-DO powered Vcast service that provides continually updated video clips to select handsets.
Zachary Research analyst Patrick Comack noted in a research report that the Crown Castle-powered service is set to launch during the first quarter of next year. The service will use Crown Castle's digital video broadcast-handheld television service, which Crown Castle told RCR Wireless News earlier this year it planned to offer in between 20 markets and 30 markets by the end of 2007.

Why are CDMA phones uglier?
This isnt bashing or anything, i'm jsut realy curious as to why the antenna's are cheaper, the phones are bigger, and they dont have cool styling?
check out the nokia 6155i, the moto e815, a840, the ugly lg's, and a few sammy's. they really arent as cool as the comparable gsm phones. why is that? do cdma phones require more hardware or somethin?

Please help with new phone choices
I want a phone that has bluetooth and speaker phone and I'll be happy. Verizon Stores want $400 for a phone with those features! I found some online, on ebay, etc. that are around $200, but I don't know if they'll work.
They all say that they will work with the Verizon Network, but how do I know for sure? Also, what's the difference b/t a locked and an unlocked phone? How do I get on that is locked, unlocked?
Finally, if I buy one from OTHER than Verizon, how do I activate it?
Thanks for all of your help!
Modify 7250 Ringer and earpiece
Does anyone know of anyone that modifies the 7250 ringer and earpiece volume? Yes, I know this will void the warranty, but, my old ears can't hear the ringer and I struggle to hear the other person speaking when I am in a crowded environment. As it is I had to give up my BT headset and go back to a version that goes in the ear :-(
Though I am thrilled to have one device, I do miss my 710's ringer and earpiece volume.
Thanks, Scott

Help me out here?
Today, 3:58 PM source: Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless earlier this month reached a settlement in the class action suit brought against it by V710 owners. Subscribers who purchased V710s have 4 options to choose from before December 9, 2005. They can keep their V710 and receive a $25 credit from Verizon. They can return their V710 and all accessories for a full refund but keep their service. They can also return the phone for a refund and break the service agreement without a termination charge. Additionally, users who are satisfied with their handset can opt out of the class.
What is the problem with the 710? This phone has been way better than the 265. 😕 😕
