I am on my 3rd treo 650 and it doesn't get any better. I cant find a bluetooth headset that works with the 650. Ok I found some that say they are compatible, IE:JABRA BT250, motorola I cant remember the number,I even tried the palm version of the bluetooth headset.Yes you can say they work and are compatible if you can live with constant static, enough static that you cant hear the other person speak. I have called Jabra, Motorola, and Palm nobody is willing to step up to the plate and offer any help!!! I know have a drawer full of bluetooth headsets that are worthless.
I have also had issues with the phone resetting, I can be in the middle of a call and the phone resets itself!!! I spoke again with palm and Verizon, and netiher could offe...

exactly what is "IN-CALLING" and what makes it so great that people would say that it is one of the best things vzw has (besides evdo, cool phones, and market share)?

i used to sell phones, and i never did understand this... i always thought it meant that verizon customers can call any other verizon customer for free, at any time...and every carrier has that calling plan feature available, in fact most people i talk to refer to it as mobile-to-mobile...

I am curious as to how you get to spend your advertising dollars. Do you get to put it where you want? and how you want? DO you have go through a co-op to get the ad approved and they decide where to put the ad?

I work for a larger indirect company (17 stores) and we have to run everything through a co-op to get our ads approved. We have very little say as to what it says and where we can run it. Our marketing person never calls to tell us where the radio is running and if there is a print ad that runs in the newspaper where the home office located. Very tough for us. Then we have the National Verizon ads that run on tv and we don't offer the same promos that corporate does. Very Frustrating!!

I picked up a new phone Wednesday. My wife was eligible for NE2, but she's not a gadget fanatic and was happy with her old phone. I have the 8100, so just picked up another 8100 "for her". I figured I could drop the $4.99/month insurance, and keep the new, free, 8100 for a back-up in case something happens to my phone.

The rep at the store understood what I wanted, and when I left the store he said the new phone was not activated, but that I could do so anytime on-line.

My wife didn't tell me until last night that her phone wasn't working. I knew what had happened, so went on-line to activate her old phone. The system would not let me. I had to call CS to get her old phone re-activated. I asked the CSR why this couldn't be done...

My question is ..Has anyone tried to get out of there Verizon contract using this .40cent fee as a contract violation defense? If so what were the results? I want to leave Verizon not because of there service problems it's that I need Nextel's walkie talkie feature and it would cost a ton to pay for the service to be able to PTT between 2 different carriers..

Let's think about this for a second... You have 37 million lines. Multiply that by .40 and you get just under 15 million. Take 15 million and multiply it by 12, and you get just under 180 million. My guess says that Verizon is not worried about losing a few customers $175.00 in leau of 180 Million a year.

I love Verizon and their customer service, but if a few people leave it is not going to break their hearts.

When I was going to buy a phone from another provider, the salesperson had opened up the box in front of me. In it was the 1.phone 2.manual 3.power adapter 4.belt clip for phone.

With the near identical phone at Verizon I had the above 1 2 & 3.

But they would sell me a belt clip. 😲

When I go to the mall on Saturday and walk by the cingular kiosk the cingy sales rep damn near yell out, what's you got, what's you got. Even if you walk by them five minutes later there be another one, who's your provider, who's your provider. What kind of ghetto practice is this? Is this the only way cingular can get customers?

Ok I have until May 2006 until my 24 month contract goes month to month and I get a "discount" on a new phone....trouble is my P.O.S. Slider phone is falling apart and I need a new phone. Verizon wont give me the discounted price on a new phone even if I agree to a new 2-year deal. I don't really feel like spending $200+ on a new phone or spending for a cheap phone; so what are my choices? I feel like opting out of my contract using the .40 cent increase thing and switching over to another carrier, but trouble is I have a ton of people on Verizon and love the in thing. I guess my question is if I cancel my contract with Verizon, can I sign up with them again, get a new number, and a new phone? What does Verzion consider as a new customer?...

About two months ago I registered at pix place and began to receive and send messages through the site. It was fairly intuitive so I did not have to read any manuals. Now I come to learn that messages I had sent from the site are deleted after 7 days. The verizon rep I called took 15 minutes to learn this fact and also said that the site is not easy to learn its nuances.

We both thought that a proper way to handle the space limitations would be for the site to have a pop up warning when you send a message stating that the message would be deleted from the sent folder unless you save it and then asking you if you want to save it.

Anyone using the service is familiar with PC and email clients. Given this fact, VZW should set the site...

Is motorola making a RAZR for Verizon? Please provide any relevant details.

Would Verizon Help any way if I am Currently out of a job and have my phones not able to make out going calls but recive incomming. and no longer can afford the price of a phone due to no work and no income, is there a way to get out of the early deactivation fees? because my bill is at 400 and i cannot afford the 175 for each phone.

Just come to Cingular and get the RAZR today, you can even have a choice of color.... black or silver 😉

Those of you that work at our corporate call centers do a great job overall. Thank You! God knows I couldn't handle being on the phone all day. But please help me out a little. Please stop sending customers into the store with the expectations that we can just give them a new phone without our phone techs first looking at it. I know that some phones defects are a warranty issue. But some customers have dropped their phone in the toilet and are not telling you the truth. I am always adamant about reading the notes and seeing what was promised them from one or more of you. But we can not just replace a phone just because you think it is covered under the warranty. Even the customers with TEC can not get a replacement if there is water ...

Does anyone else feel like there are too many verizon logos all over the leather cases, plastic cases, even sometimes the phones?? A leather case is so ugly yet alone having a verizon logo TILED on the inside (luckily) but the outside the back the clip it's just kinda silly already. Plus when you're phones OPEN it says verizon nice and clear and on the screen when its open.

I just really hope they dont make a audio watermark when you're talking "Brought to you by Verizon Wireless". But I wouldn't be too surprised if they did the way they're going. I like verizon service most of the time that just gets me kinda irratated.
