Rokr rip off

I just saw that cingular is not going to subsidize the price of this phone when it is released. So they are going to charge 400-500 bucks regardless of your contract or if your a new customer just like they did when the razor first launched đŸ¤Ŗ I am so sick of reading Cingular trolls in here for bashing verizon for their business practices and saying we nickel and dime customers when they pull this kinda of crap!

Katrina Relief Efforts

So, in the TMobile forum we have a thread detailing the steps the company is taking to help out victims of Katrina:

What are the other companies doing along the same lines? C'mon, brag on your company... 😉

Wait for Razr?

I really want the Razr V3c. I was so excited to see it might come out for Verizon. But then I saw it had Verizon UI (I think that's what its called 😁) 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈.. I love Motorola and all the phones it offers. I'm thinking maybe cancel VZW and get the razr with T-mobile or Cingular. Since VZW probably will butcher the Razr đŸ˜ĸ. Is the razr defentily going to have Verizon UI. Or could they still change it.

6255i on verizon

Has anyone ever activated a Nokia 6255i on Verizon? I hear its getting tougher to activate non Verizon branded phones on thier network. I'm still using my western wireless 3586i on it (love those free java games and ring tones) but the phone is getting old. The alarm stopped working about a year ago and the phone freaks out every now and then.

EVDO Kicks A**

Los Angeles Times reporter David Colker tested BroadbandAccess and raved about it in a recent column, writing: "Around Oxnard, I hit a trip-high rate of 1,350 kbps. At the time, I was chatting via AOL Instant Messenger with a woodworker who designs and builds custom furniture on Vancouver Island. As we IM'd, I also checked out pictures of his furniture on the Web, bought a book for a friend's birthday and answered e-mail. All while listening to Otto's Baroque Musick, an online radio station based in Hong Kong. It was wireless heaven, on the move."

Early Upgrade I dont think so!

đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ

I was viewing through these fourms. I came across a guy with a 710 issue, this is what i told him. Thought I would share it so you all know!

It doesnt matter how many time u switch it out. you wont get a better phone! I have the 710 never had ne major issues like yours. I always question customers with issues, with so many exchanges if the prob is them! not the phone! I get sick of theses customers with Treo 600 that want the 650 (which isnt much better then the 600) so they keep on making up issues and messing the software up on purpose to get the 650. I got news for you, for the most part your wasting your time and mine. just remember each time you call in it costs us about $7...

Plain and simple.

Will Verizon ever have a simple handset that has bluetooth for the headset without đŸ‘ŋ a @#$@!! đŸ‘ŋ camera? So many places are denying entry to people with camera phones that it's not worth carrying one around. My job mandates our phones be locked up while on the premises. I have a VERY tired LG 3100 that I only keep for personal practicality. Besides, with the way Verizon cripples their phones anyway . . . Comments?

People Should Read What is Given to Them

You also HAVE to understand something though. When you signed up for service you were given our Worry Free Guarantee, which outlines many aspects of how we will provide service to you, our customer. In that, you can move up and down within your current calling plan (without extending your contract) or you can always take a new promo and we will backdate it to your CURRENT bill cycle date. Not the $500 bill you already HAVE. We give you this information when you sign up for service for a reason. To READ IT. If you chose not to take the time to read the many many various options we give you, that isn't our fault, and we tend to compromise less. Of course, if the error is our fault we will 100% correct it. But you, the consumer have SO many opt...

Why do customers think they are ENTITLED to a free phone??

I guess I don't understand this concept and probably never will. I mean, you don't go into a GM dealership and say "I think I've earned a free car because this is my 3rd GM vehicle". And you also don't walk into WalMart and say "I've shopped here loyally for 8 years, I think my purchases should be free today". You would be laughed right out of the store and righfully so.

So.....if anyone out there can logically explain this phenomenon to me, I would greatly appreciate it. ☚ī¸

I feel this has to be said...

Two main points I wanted to get off my chest.

1st. As mentioned in another thread...quit posting things off of infocenter. I know VZW employees are doing this too, but VZW has been trying to find ways to get rid of agents. I would like to keep working for the dealership I work for. VZW can fire employees, but they will always have and need customer care reps. But they can and will get rid of agents if they want to. If you see something about a phone from another site or from phonescoop, by all means refer to that, but posting things off of infocenter is not good business. What ever happened to morals today? What happened to the day when businesses could trust their employees with company information?

2nd. Calling customers "reta...

Irritating

Dont you verion customers get tired of having to do little stupid things, like dial a certain code for this situation, or watch your mobile to mobile in that situation, not saying verizon isnt good but seems like they have some control issues to me. Dont want to do anything to my phone unless I want to do it, you know? 😕

Verizon Easy Pay ?

Are there any options for person's) wanting to add ring-tones to their LGVX4650 which is currently on the EasyPay Plan through Verizon? Are there any links on-line that might help answer my question. Have several song tunes that I would like to use for my ring-tones but can't use Get it Now features on my phone, but do have access to the Internet. A friend of mine mentioned some type of data cable/usb .. any help would be appreciated greatly!!

Low cost emergency-only options with verizon?

I am looking for the absolute cheapest way to have access to Verizon's network. I plan on switching to AT&T because I am tired of waiting for Bluetooth w/ Verizon. However, I still would like to keep my cdma/analog phone active with Verizon. I looked into the pre-pay service but that stuff all expires after x number of days. The cheapest monthly plan seems to be $30/month. Is this the best I can do? I plan to never use the phone, only to have it with me to use if I am in the middle of nowhere and need help.
