How do give a great recommendation about a Verizon store rep for great cust service?

My last 5 phones and price changes through Verizon have been handled by one rep (I always wait for her instead of having someone else wait on me). The reason is that she has always gone out of her way to make sure that I'm buying something I don't need or and she knows what phones work better than others. I never feel like I'm being pressured into a particular price plan or phone. She's even gone out of her way to call me on her day off, if I leave a message for her on the store's messaging system about an issue that I may have.

Anyway, do I contact the store manager or send it up to Verizon through the website?

Thanks!

"Can you hear me NOW" TRUTH

Well just look at the quote its about the most ass backwards slogan of all time and its so damn annoying that customers actually embrace it and actually think the guy on the other line s saying yes. We all know that the only time you say those few distinguished words is when your on a very important buisness call and the line goes to out. Its kinda like those commercials on TV about big tobacco the truth is the slogan is a reality and i don't see how we can actually be selling this outdated crap to consumers and raising prices on a gov't subsidized network. can you hear me now

Verizon Wireless to cut high-speed pricing-analyst

http://yahoo.reuters.com/financeQuoteCompanyNewsArti ... »

The No. 2 U.S mobile service and the country's first to sell wireless Web links with speeds comparable to some home broadband services, will cut its $80 a month rate plan to about $60 in a bid to stay ahead of rivals such as Sprint Nextel (S.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , said American Technology Research analyst Albert Lin.

Lin said he does not expect the company to make dramatic changes to its high-speed consumer service, known as Vcast, which delivers content such as Web surfing and video downloads to phones for about $15 a month.

Sprint, the No. 3 U.S. mobile service which became Sprint Nextel this month after its ...

Alltel Rolls Out New Plans

Alltel rolled out some pretty competitive new plans today:

$75 gets you:

Two phone lines
1000 shared anytime minutes
Unlimited N&W
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
7:00 PM Nights on the first two lines

You can add three more lines at $9.99 but their Nights start at 9:00 PM.

VZW needs to re-examine their current plans and drop the price $10. That would make the 700 minute plan $59.99, and the 1400 minute plan $79.99. They also are going to have to look at the earlier night hours too.

Campbell vs. Verizon Settlement?

Hi!

Anyone know the outcome of what was supposed to be the settlement final approval of this Class Action Suit by Judge William C. Pate in Sandiego CA on April 29, 2004 (Case No. GIC 751725)?

And how do you go about claiming the vouchers for new/renewal, credits and accessories?
I am ready to renew my contract and upgrade my phone, but don't want to do it the day before they issue money-saving vouchers!

This Class Action has been in the works since 2002, and Verizon included an update in the Jan 2004 bills saying the settlement could become final on 4/29/04, but Verizon don't seem to know anything more about it.

Did Verizon's CEO really say this?

Ok I have never been on engadgets website as I can not access it from work ☹️ but I read this on another forum site and this is what it stated...

Could someone at Verizon keep CEO Ivan Seidenberg away from the press? We’ll let that fact that he ridiculed municipal WiFi slide, since he’s just protecting his turf (even if he did call it “one of the dumbest ideas” he’s ever heard), but whining about Verizon Wireless customers who complain about the quality of their cellphone service is pretty weak. In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle he asks, “Why in the world would you think your (cell) phone would work in your house? The customer has come to expect so much.” We can understan...

Number portability question

If I purchase a phone and service plan from Amazon, instead of porting my number over at the time of purchase, can I do it, say, 10 days later? Basically, I want to use to 15 day period as a time to test the phone and signal strenght in my area. If I hate it, I'll just cancel it and keep my existing plan with Sprint.

Anyone know if I can do this or does it have to be at the time of purchase?

Another retarded customer story

I just had a customer tell me that if I didn't give him a $5 credit every month for the rest of his life, he was leaving and going to T-Mobile where he can get 1000 mins for the same as what he is paying for 500 mins. When I tried to help him by telling him that the T-Mobile plan he was looking at doesn't have Night and Weekend mins, he wanted to argue with me when I was looking at the website. What is the big deal about the $5 credit and if he was so convinced he would get twice the mins and unlimited nights and weekends, why did he stay. This is just another example of how customers think they can call and bully us in Customer Service and we're going to give them whatever they want to keep them happy. If he wants to leave, hope the doo...

No brain cancer link to cell phones, study finds

No brain cancer link to cell phones, study finds
Researchers conclude there is no increased risk in first decade of use

LONDON - Ten years of using a mobile phone results in no increased risk of a tumor in the nerve connecting the ear to the brain, researchers said on Tuesday.

But amid public concern about a possible link, the scientists who conducted the largest study so far on the subject said they could not rule out a higher risk over a longer period.

“The results of our study suggest there is no substantial risk in the first decade after starting use,” said Anthony Swerdlow of the Institute of Cancer Research.

Whether there are longer-term risks remains unknown, reflecting the fact that this is a relatively recent technol...

customers...

One of my most favorite things:

Spouse calling in with a problem on the account, you work with them they are extremely nice and understanding about the situation and you get everything resolved no problem...all is good and well in the world...then the unthinkable happens...those awful words..."OKay thanks for getting that takin care of for me....oh my wife/husbands has some questions for you...hold on"

Then they get on the phone and all hell breaks loose ...were they not listening to the conversation prior to them getting on the line? Did they hear their spouse yelling or anything in order to get resolution? Are they playing good cop bad cop? What is up with this? 😳
