after 2 years with Vzone im upgrading my phone from LG V10 to Moto V710
and upgrading the plan to new national with NO Roaming and added extras for $9.99 to get Internet, TXT, PIC, instant Messanger

thing is where i live n where i go to school theres only "Extended Network" and i tried to aske cust. and they said as long as its not analog or flashing "roaming" i can use all that stuff

so my question to you guys is will i be able to use all this feature on "extended Network"??? or is this a no go??
i should be getting my Moto tommorow in mail, so is this a good phone?? for free??

i really like the 4700 and so does my friend and we want to get it just to have because we think it would be fun to have. we talk to each other enough anyways. but we dont know anyone else with PTT! im just wondering if anyone knows anyone with PTT? my friends mom has it but i doubt that im gonna be beeping her...not that i wouldnt want to...AHEM...but just curious what the specs are on how many people have PTT

I have a friend visiting from out of town. Verizon is fairly new to my area and my friend's PRL is very old. Verizon does have a network in this area, but since my friend's PRL is so old it is saying he is in analog roam. Is there anyway to update the PRL by dialing a 1-800 number for Verizon since the *228 does not work because his phone shows him in analog roam? ☹️

One is for cingular near the middle/bottom.. but one at the top says Razr V3 and on the bottom of the box theres a scroll saying "for verizon" does that mean we have a razr coming to Verizon Wireless? Because it also says "preorder" when you go to buy it..Anyone have an answeR?

It seems I just missed out on the 'buy one get one' deal on a VX 6100 for $99.99 for Mother's Day (guess Dads have to like the a670 😢 ). With my NE2 I would have gotten two of these phones on my family plan. Today, it is $149 for one. I'm ready to upgrade my family plan (from 500 to 1,000 minutes) and sign a new two year agreement, but the sales rep had no idea when that offer would come around again.

How do I find out when VZW is having these deals in-store? The deal mentioned above wasn't on the VZW web site.

Hi, so I finally got around to getting the software on my V60s upgraded to 8600_03.0F.00 and now it's doing some odd things.
Everytime I turn it on, it comes on with the speakerphone on, there doesn't seem to be any way to disable that behaviour.
Also, battery life seems to be a lot less now, could just be time taking it's toll (it's the original battery and I've had it since I got the phone back in December 2003 when they first came out.)

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Is there a newer version of the software the fixes these issues? I got the upgrade done about 4-8 weeks ago, I don't remember exactly when.

I have an LG VX8000 and I was wondering how to download free ringtones. I have found several free wap sites, but when i click download, they just repeat over and over again. Is there some way to save them to my phone or is there a better site to use?

ok, I am a longtime customer and always have found verizon coverage to be awesome. However I have become annoyed at the selection of phones and the prices of them. It seems the competitors are offering better phones and better prices. Currently carrying pocket pc and phone and getting tired of it.

All I want is a PDA phone. No need for wireless email or web. I also don't want something really large. dont really even need a keyboard cuz I sync with my pc.

The 2 choices vzw offers are the samsung i600 and the treo phones.

i600 is running an older window mobile version and is very expensive. The new audiovox phone from cingular is like $200. Vzw has it for like $399 or something

some people here said that the activation fee changed from $15 to $20 on may 9 2005. my friend and i went to complain to a verizon store that he activated a 3 phone family plan and was charged $20 per phone for activation. they said the price change took place on april 20 2005.

I am a current Verizon customer eligible for New Every 2 $100 credit. I am an independent contractor who uses phone for business. I was told by CSR that I'd be ineligible for business pricing because I don't have a Tax ID#. Anyone out there have any suggestions/tips on purchasing this phone at best possible cost?

I've spent the last 2 days trying to decide which plan and phone to get.

I've been reading and getting conflicting advice about the following.

I was leaning to the Single Rate Plan but I don't like the 2 phones they offer for National Access. I was told that any phone with 1xrtt will work as long as it's a tri-mode phone. I was also told that VZW will activate any phone that's compatible with their system. I want to have "tethered use" that will permit access to Verizon's ISP for fast access or, if not on the network, then dial into my current ISP. I don't want to pay roaming or xtra fees for data.

Help.

Of course, what he meant was that he left his phone on the airplane. Clearly the guy was nervous and worried about the missing phone, and I’m sure this explains why he got his words mixed up.

But I still think it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard a customer say. I wanted to tell him that the phone was probably damaged beyond repair if there was an airplane on top of it, but I wasn’t sure he would find ...

I work for vzw and I get so angry when you find out a potential customer was lied to about vzw and your potential customer signs up based on that. I had a customer interested in new lines and educated him on all this good stuff about the networks (something I pride myself on studdying) and different ins and outs of the industry. Him and his boss go to an authorized agent for tmobile and get the phones. I have NO problem accepting that. But in talking to him I find out that the stupid moron selling him the phone said that our ENTIRE network was analog and that gsm was so much better and new than cdma it would be a huge mistake to go with vzw. He also told the customer that tmobile has the largest coverage out of all the carriers second to cin...

I have some input for Verizon and I am not sure of the best way to give it to them. When I call customer care, they tell me to write out a letter, but they don't have a valid address for someone.

Is there a way that I can contribute feedback about the phones, coverage, customer service, etc... directly to some department in Verizon who appreciates cutomer suggestions?

I get so tired of hearing people complain about customer service issues, comparing us to other companies , and the whole union thing. So here's my rant to you guys who start all this(yeah you know who you are)!!!!

One-customer service is one of those hit and miss spots with any situation and with any company. With a company so large its hard to guarantee the same exact customer service experience on each interaction. Remember this is customer service, not "how can we screw our company out of money" service. These people work within the policies given, so some may know more loopholes than others.
