Since this is the next best thing to calling Care, Where can i down load MP3 Ringtones for my V710

I want you to all to read the thread on contract extensions and check out the crap that is spewing from supposed vzw employees. This is disgusting.

A customer just called in and said "I am trying to call this business and when i dial it, its asking me for a password" I asked him what number he is calling. I repeated the number. He said "yes, that is the number I am calling. He was dialing his own number getting to his voicemail.

Hoping a VZW rep can help me with this.

I'm changing plans and therefore will require a one year extension to my contract.

If I sign a new one year contract today, and 6 months from now I need to change my plan again (which I know I can do) will my contract be extended another year from the date of the plan change (so my year will restart) or will it still be a one year contract from the date I started

So for example, let's say I start my new contract Sept. 1 04, then Feb. 1 05 I switch my plans. Will my contract be up Sept. 1 05 or Feb 1 of 06?

Does anyone have any thought on why it would be advantageous to VZW to contract for digital only phones?

It would seem to me that they would want to cover as much geographic area as possible and for the forseable future that can only be done if analog is included in the mix. I cannot imagine that cost is a factor in the decision process. I am no tan engineer but could it really cost that much to include analog in the phone's capabilities?

Even in the Denver metro area I find myself using analog almost every week. If I could not receive any signal I would be considering another carrier.

I'm researching a replacement phone, since Verizon doesn't seem to have made a measurable difference with my current phone, as it relates to dropped calls and lack of signal. I now have new requirements, wondering if any of you know of a phone that will work on Verizon that fits my criteria:
1) Must have either IR, Bluetooth or 802.11B
2) Must NOT be a PDA phone
3) Must be National Access capable
4) Must be WAP capable
5) Must be tri mode (analog plus both digital modes)
6) Should be one of the stronger phones as far as retaining signal
7) Color display is nice but not required
😎 Flip or clam design preferred, others considered
9) Don't care about a camera
10) Don't care about BREW

Anyone else notice how Verizon has been gradually creating two very different plans? A digital "house brand"
AC, plan that seems much like the SPCS model while maintaining an all inclusive National Single Rate.

I'm wondering if it's only high roaming partner costs (like US Cellular in OR) which precludes Free Roam coverage in AC the PRL?

This two tiered system, where Verizon not only offers customers a very competitive AC plan, but also a maximum coverage SR, as well as the option to switch between them, seems like a huge competitive advantage. Verizon just seems to keep lumbering towards some far of goal, slowly but surely.

While I think the 3589i is a good phone, is there any chance that we will see any of the new Nokia CDMA models on Verizon anytime soon? Sprint gets the 3205 and the 6225, and the 6585 is great as well. And there's the 6255i, a flip phone with a camera and bluetooth.

After talking in the local stores with a variety of reps I have come to the suspicion that the reps like the idea of plausible deniability for the V710. They seem to like wearing it like jewelery but know nothing about it.

i just got a usb data cable and i installed the drivers but i cant get it to work. i dont know how to work it or where to go after i finish installing the drivers. is there somethin else that i need to download or get. i'd appreciate it if somebody could help me. thanks

If I substitute a phone on a plan will that effect the NE2? From what I understand the NE2 just applies to the line with a plan $34.99 or higher. It doesn't say anything about changing phones that would effect the NE2 discount when the line is eligible. Thanks in advance for any information.
