Who could I contact in regards to a Verizon sales consultant

I was wondering who I could contact and how in regards to the sales consultant. I live in Florida and I didn't want to contact the Atlanta address they give on the website I wanted to contact someone who has control/authority over this specific person. Thanks!

Hey Iyvonne

You work in the North East area right? Do you do any work with the Orangeburg Internet team? I have been sitting on hold trying to get someone there for the past 45 minutes ☚ī¸

Back to School Promotions?

Last week there was a thread regarding possible promotions that may or may not be starting in early August. Does anyone have any info on whether there will be any changes to plan or phone pricing in the immediate future? (I'm in upstate NY.)

Thanks,
NC

Removal of Analog Towers?

Does anybody know when Verizon is going to get rid of their analog towers? Someone on this forum said that they were going to replace them with digital, and the VZW tech guy at our kiosk near my house said that they aren't going to be replaced, if so, then wouldn't Verizon lose a lot of business because the digital area isn't that much and some people rely on the analog system?

Can I Renew Via 3rd Party?

I am a current VZW customer and was holding off on doing anything with my phone until I completed a move. Well the move is over and I'm very happy to report that my cell phone works amazingly well in my new location and I'm ready to drop the land-line and go cell phone only. So I need to get a plan with more minutes and probably a good time to grab a new phone as well.

I've noticed that Circuit City and occasionally other retailers have mail in rebates and other deals that make the phones and plans a better offer than buying direct from Verizon. If I'm not going to buy from Verizon, I would only buy from a local store where I could make a return and get some customer service

As a current VZW customer am I even eligible to take part in ...

Aircards, man, I love these things.

I just got two cards to try out - a Sierra AC555 & a PC3220. I installed the 555 on my laptop with absolutely no trouble, and it flies. In fact, I'm posting this from my bathroom. Average speed, 60-80 kbps, occasional bursts where I can hit 120-140 (late at night, other times with no network traffic).

The 3220, on the other hand, has been more problematic. I have an older laptop running Win2K (probably part of the problem), and I can't get it to run with Mobile Connection MAnager at all. A 40-minute call to Data Support later, and we set up a manual dial-in that sort-of works. It connects, but browsers aren't connecting, it seems like. Not IE, not Mozilla, not Opera. Again, probably a software issue. The device works fine, but it's going...

MMMMMM Cheese

I thought I would post an irrelevant thread in regards to helping customer's solve their issue and one that's also non constructive đŸ¤Ŗ in this VZW forum.

I really like Ghouda cheese, what do you other people enjoy. If you want to bicker on which cheese is better I'm not game.

Oh yeah VZW is #1

Unusualy busy today

we've been having an unusually busy day today in west area telesales support. Anyone else been finding their department unusually busy to today? (I heard the port center has been because they had a failure in the OTA system and phones are needing to be manually programed with LNP.)

Has anybody had any experience with this phone?
Any problems, bugs, etc...

Also, does anybody know if/how the "call screening" function works?

Robots working weekends?

I think in the future they should have Robots like "I,ROBOT" work for us on the weekends. So noone, like me today, has to work on a Saturday selling cellular phones when the sun is shining and it is 75 degrees. Any takers?

😁

p.s. sorry, my mind is wondering while I wait for my next customer 🙂

Trying to set up a plan with ATT Wireless

I really like the Motorola MPx200, and yes I realize it's being replaced soon. But I can't figure out what I need to sign up for in order to synch with Outlook, be able to check my email away from home, and access the web. I know I need a national plan, but do I also need to sign up for mMode? Office Online w/ PC access? A data plan? I can't get ATT to give me a straight answer on what I need.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Looks like its from VZ com instead of VZW, but still interesting. I'll post the article in a separate post for VZW reps who can't see this.

Phonepimp I'm calling you out

As an employee of the wireless industry you should have some kind of map tool which should compare coverage from carrier to carrier...for instance...at VZW we have such a tool...now in comparing VZW actual network to Cingulars actual network...I am able to see that we dwarf you. Now let me explain myself on that. I am not talking about extended networks whatsoever...I'm talking VZW owned towers and Cingular owned towers...just our own towers...thats it...as you know I do not just spew stuff out so I challenge you on this topic and this topic alone...actual company owned towers... the game is on...prove me wrong

Plan questions

I'm currently on a family plan with 2 phones.
My contract has been up for a few months.
I'd like to remove the additional family member from the account and do a NE2. A couple of questions.

1) Does removing someone renew my contract?
2) I'd like to do a NE2, should I remove the line first or do both (remove and NE2) at the same time?

Moto V260

Is there anyone out there who knows if this will be offered by VZW, and when? I am also curious if the speaker phone be duplex (like the 710) or not?

Not than I am too picky here: I want a Tri-Mode, flip, speaker phone, dual display, web access, replaceable cover, no camera, no bluetooth that is NOT made in Korea. Is that too much to ask for? I hope not.

Thanks.
