Droid & Tethering... to clear it up
Anyone Wanna Buy A DROID?
30 day return?
Now, I am considering the Storm 2 or the Motorola Droid. IF I pick one of them and don't like it, would I still be able to exchange the phone within the 30 days or was that one time the only chance I get ?
Droid Question
I'm looking at the Motorola Droid and am confused about whether or not it will work when I travel internationally. Will I need to get a local SIM card to make it work? Soooo confused.

DROID: Initial thoughts
So far, I'm pretty impressed.
I'm an avid Blackberry person, and have used Windows phones for about seven years. I've probably had about 20 smartphones (partially because I work in the industry), so I feel like I've seen some of the best and worst in the category.
Initially, I'm blown away by the touch screen. I don't have to crack the screen just trying to get something to work - the lightest touch will work fine. The screen transition is actually petty smooth, despite some of the reviews I've seen online. The sheer size of the screen is hard to beat.

1. Buy 2 phones at retail, currently I believe the cheapest phone that does what I need is a blackberry min price $429.00. Total = $860.00
2. (Not sure if this is possible) Buy 2 BB phones at BOGO on 2 new lines $149.00, switch the phones to existing number pay ETF for 2 new lines $350.00. Total = $499.00
3. Pay prorated ETF $250.00 go to some other provider and get 2 phones ~ $400.00. Total = $650.00

wait a sec.........
i wrote awhile ago about how a few weeks back i called customer service and asked full retail for the droid.....i just used my new every two in feb. so was ready to pay full retail....she suddenly starts offering me a one year contract price on the droid. saying it wouldn't cost me more than 290 for the droid.....now I'm reading about them upping etf fees on the 15th?
is this not them changing the terms of the contract i signed? i thought any changes to fees and contracts got you an automatic out of you contract.
maybe that's the reason she offered me a one year? i could be way off base....just want to hear your thoughts ?
