Insurance on old phone

Hi all. I have a Nokia 6230 that I bought from Cingular almost 3 years ago and it has been a great phone and has worked amazingly. However, it is starting to die. The vibrator barely works and on some days there is no audible ring as the external speaker just sometimes doesn't work.

I've been paying insurance on this thing for the past 3 years. Can I make a claim on it? If so, what device would I get in it's place?

Thanks.

XBM Warranty Question

I have the V3XX and I'm still within my 1 year warranty. My phone screen has occasionally been blanking out so that I have to power of the phone. I am considering doing an XBM under warranty....I was just curious, do you think I will get an AT&T or Cingular branded V3xx? The issue is not too bothersome....but It way get worse....

thanks!

How can something be this stupid

On ATTs website for wireless, I was searching for the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade (that was supposed to be available last quarter and was not, just a side note) for the CINGULAR 8525. When you press the link on ATTs page, it goes directly to HTCs website, but to the ROM update, something I have already done several months back.

Am I doing something wrong that i don't know about

Sony Ericsson K850a Question

I have seen this phone and it looks really nice. My question is how hard do you think it will be to text on that phone? The keys look to be really small and in a square shape.
Thanks...

PS- Is the release date really after Christmas? This would be a great Christmas Present to myself 🙂

Service in Scottsdale, AZ

If anyone wants to let me know how their service has been over the past few weeks in Scottsdale, AZ I would appreciate it. More specifically has anyone had any experience on AT&T in or around the Loop 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Area or the 85255, 85259, 85260, or 85262 zip codes? All input would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Question about mhz and all that good stuff.....

I have seen two sony ericsson phones on their websites that I truly love... the W660i and the W960i.... and it says that they are 900/1900 mhz.... my question is why the heck make a phone that we cant really use here? They told me that it would work with AT&T but the signal might not be that good or whateva...i really like those phones but whats the point if they dont work???

iphone contract

Can someone explain this to me? Lets say at this point I do not have service with AT&T/Cingular.

My understanding is you purchase the iphone (8Gig) in the box through at&t or an apple store for $399 (flat rate for new or old customers?).

AT&T doesn't hook it up for you - you bring it home and hook it up to AT&T service yourself through itunes.

At this point you are in a 2 yr contract.

If a new iphone comes out in a year and I really want it, can I get it even though I have another year left on my contract? This goes back to my question at the top.. would the price of the phone be a flat rate for new and old customers, or more expensive?

Thanks in advance for the info

Tough Question for you all...

I have a customer with a Samsung x497. They are too cheap to upgrade(even free phone) and somehow their daughter managed to put a phone lock code on there, not a pin code, not a puk code, but a separate phone lock code, and no matter how many times you enter it, even switch the sim, you cannot get into the phone without entering this code in. I am assuming it is just the security code, but i have tried the default 00000000 for samsung, 1243, etc. and they do not work. Is there any way to reset the phone's security code without knowing it? Any help would be appreciated.
