I bought a gophone over a year ago and i also have a regular plan with cingular but my monthly plan phone is broken. My question is can i just swap the sim cards and use the sim card from regular phone in my gophone? If i do so would i be cahrger per minute like the gophone or would it just use my minutes from my regular plan? Thanks.

I live in the Washington DC area and I keep hearing rumors that AT&T will soon have coverage on the DC Metro rail (underground subway) but it never happens. As of now Verizon and Sprint (roams on Verizon's network) are the only ones that get coverage. What the hold up????

Hi I just spoke with a Cingular rep who did not speak english...so I just want some advice from the forum.

Me and my husband have the 700 Family Share Plan as well as the medianet packages for $14.99 per phone...I have recently purchased a Blackjack...and he has upgraded to the V3xx RAZR, my question is what would be the best plan for us both?? He is a Premiere Customer...I'm not sure if that gives us access to different plans?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

This may be an repeated question. But, I would like to know if AT&T ever plans to extend the 5000 night and weekend minutes on the $39.99 450 minute per month plan to unlimited nights and weekends. Or will they just discontinue the $39.99 plan? The 450 anytime minutes work well for me but I do most of my talking on nights and weekends and have somtimes gone beyond 5000. The 5000 minute limit is the only thing hindering my upgrading from TDMA and staying with AT&T. I know that I don't have much longer to decide.

Is this true? I just saw on the local news in ATL that ATT is no longer requiring customers to sign new contracts when they change plans or upgrade. They also said the termination fees will be based on how far into your contract you are? ANyone know anything about this?

I just migrated and signed a 2-year contract. Just wondering.

Lately I have been seeing several ads on TV, newspapers, etc. touting the iPhone for business users, something I am considering.

However the following information from some 'Important information for Iphone users' seems to contradict the latest marketing message re the iPhone.

"Available only to consumer accounts. iPhone and associated wireless service are not eligible for corporate discounts."

Kind of double speak in my opinion-thoughts?? 😕

I remember reading that ATT/ Cingular was going to upgrade the HSDPA network from 1.8 to 3.6 mbps. Have they increased the download speed yet, and if not are there any guesses as to when? Also the new announcement and availability of HSUPA network cards Is it safe to assume that the download speeds are 3.6 mbps yet. I know most of the cards support at least 3.6 if not 7.2 and it is just the network limiting what is available

if you order a refurbished phone online does it come in the same box that a regular phone would come in or does it come in its own cheap box. and also does the phone say its refurbished ianywhere on the equipment?
