I have seen the iphone -OMG!

It is flawless, seamless and real thing of beauty. I must admit, I was one of the skeptics but it has left me speechless.. It performs even better then the commercials. The images actually rotate to landscape mode when the the device is turned instead of just 'pop' to landscape like the commercial. It works great on EDGE but also connects effortlessly to wi-fi or your wireless router.
I'm just flabbergasted and at a lose for words.

FYI:
COR quantities will be limited at launch.

Older phones more reliable than the newer phones?

I believe that. One line is a 6682 and I have a ROKR on the other line. They work just fine. Any comments?

Opera Mini 4 beta

Is sick, it will rival the iphones internet browser. As an unruly crowd at a basketball game might chant, I chant about the iphone. "Overrated"

MMS problem

I have a Nokia 6126 that is about 2 weeks old. When I try to attach a picture to an MMS the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then goes back to the home screen. Is there a setting I need to adjust or does this sound like a problem with the phone?
Thanks for any help.

Nascar and Nextel are Bogus

NASCAR countersues AT&T for $100 million, moves to ban future telecom sponsorships

Posted Jun 18th 2007 12:45PM by Evan Blass
Filed under: ATT

We really couldn't care less about who wins this race or that race on the NASCAR circuit, and yet we've been unable to take our eyes off of the stock car giant's ongoing legal battle with AT&T, which has just entered a new and more contentious phase this week. You'll recall that in an effort to protect Nextel's exclusive 10-year sponsorship, NASCAR officials attempted to prohibit the "new" AT&T from rebranding Jeff Burton's Cingular car -- an attempt that was thwarted in a US District Court last month. Well apparently Brian France and friends aren't too fond of watching Burton race around the t...

Release Date For The Blackberry 8820

I was wondering if anybody has a release date for the 8820? I know it is supposed to have Wi-Fi. Now this may sound like a dumb question, but I am new to this technology stuff and I was wondering what is the big deal with Wi-Fi? How is it an advantage to having it on your cell phone? Thanks guys 🙂

Razr V3xx

I was just wondering how the new Razr V3xx phone is. Is is pretty much the same as the other Razr phones? Or should I wait until the new Razr 2 comes out?

confused - at&t doing 1 year upgrades??

Sorry, I've been busy with school & haven't had time to read all the threads in here regarding upgrades.

Anyways, the website says I'm available for an upgrade. I don't want to do a 2 year though. I'd like to just do a 1 year.

Anyone know the upgrade price of a w810 on a 1 year if I'm able to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Phones you wish at&t had

I am an at&t employee but I am also a customer. There are phones that other carriers have that I totally wish we had so I could pick them up. Add to the list if you want.

Treo 700p
LG enV
T-Mobile Dash
LG VX8700
Treo 700wx
T-Mobile Sidekick 3 (I dont know why but I always thought the sidekick was a good looking device).

you know what I do everytime i drop a call...

...i call the person back.

Seriously people, I don't know if it is advertising or what the puts this idea in your head that having a dropped call every now and then is that big of a deal. How miserable is your life when you dwell over a few dropped calls.

And as far as people who victimized themselves when they drop two calls and and claim that it happens "all the time".

I am not some at&t fanboy, but I do work in the wireless industry and I have been a customer of three different carriers and I am here to tell you that it happens with every carrier out there. For every area where verizon gets service and at&t doesn't, there is an area where at&t works and verizon doesn't.

I think when it really comes down to choosing a provi...

Sick and tired of dropped calls

Whoever is in charge of 3G rollout in Northern NJ should have his a** kicked - the calls are getting dropped left and right, peak and off-peak.

Yesterday (Sunday) - had 5 bars, dropped twice in a 40 min phone conversation, several times voices became really garbled like a borderline drop. This is happening with both Moto and Samsung - so particular phone is out of question.

So, if I call 611 - what do I tell them? and what are they going to do? I don't need minutes credit, I need uninterrupted conversation!

Is you COR store ready for the iPhone?

I dont mean to make ANOTHER thread about the iphone. But when i was speaking to my manager today I grew concerned that there was no real game plan on how the company will be handling the iPhone craze on the 29th. A few things come to mind.

1. Ok, so we are closing shop at 430 and opening again at 6. Aside from the internet buzz, I dont see this as being common knowledge for iphone customers. I also dont see the 6pm release time as being common knowledge. This means that we will have people hanging around all day waiting for the iphone just to get kicked out at 430. This is sure to cause a problem.

2. So we close the doors and the line forms outside if it hasnt already formed. What about regular customers who just want to get a c...

Question for ATT/Cingular reps

I have Cingular 2 line on a month to month. My contract ran out over a year ago. I want to buy another phone for my wife and I.

Can I buy any GSM phone and just switch the card? We have 1600 roll over minutes and I don't want to lose them, pay as you go data and text.

We are looking at the SE520s to repace our current SEs

Don't beat me up but, iphone craze????

I have not made my decision yet if I want to try and get an iphone next week. If one was to try though how far ahead of the 6 p.m. hour would one want to be at the store. Camp out? Don't jump all over me now. Some may think to do so. Thanks in advance.
