I'm new to at&t {again} and am not trying to talk smack, but I must ask: how did at&t find the stats of the "Fewest Dropped Calls"? Did they check every company's stats? And did they get the stats from all over the country, or just one side?

I work in prepaid support and I read the enclosed article and nearly had a heart attack. The iPhone MAY be coming to prepaid. The iPhone will be $500-$600 depending on the memory WITH a contract. How much would it be for prepaid? $1000-$1200? Come on. Really? Who is going to pay $1000 for a phone? Oh, yeah. People are stupid. They will buy it. The other thing that confuses me about prepaid iPhones is that prepaid customers are not supposed to have data devices on their accounts. Using a full web browser will eat your prepaid balance up faster than you can say MEdia Net. I saw a guy with a Blackjack who used $100 within 15 minutes. CSP contradicts itself on this point though. I traded phones with my fiancee. She has my 6682 & i have her 6126. This is a cool phone! It's enough to keep me satisfied until i get a Blackjack next month as a second line. Who else has one?

Anyone got any idea when aT&T is going to start offering broadband connect outside the current areas in Louisiana? I'm mainly wondering about the Lake Charles area but anywhere outside of the 3 cities now offered would be progress. Seems to be taking forever.

At present I have the misfortune to have Cingular (I won't call it service - that might
imply they're doing something helpful) as a carrier. I got a Sony-Ericsson W300i in
December of 2006. I have an intermittent problem that sends the majority (seems to be
ALL of my important calls!) of my callers to my voice mail. My phone rings, but when I
try to answer no one is there. Cingular has been unable to fix the problem. They've
replaced the phone four times, the sim card once and in desperation I even had them
change my number. They still send my callers to my voice mail. Cingular has graciously
offered to replace my W300i with a phone that sells for $100 less than what I paid for
the W300i and doesn't have anywhere near the fea...

I went to a special iPhone training this week. I cannot spill too much as I am sworn to secrecy and if I say a word about it, Steve Jobs will have my head. I went in solidly hating the iPhone. I came out wanting one. I will still wait for the 2nd or 3rd generation and 3G, but I like it. Anyone else have training on it?

This is no joke, but Sprint offers discount for at&t employees. 5% off their monthly service bill, and 10% off for corp employees. Just wanted to let any at&t employees know, just in case you have Sprint.

Can anyone add any insight to when or if BB will come out with a 3G phone for AT&T? If I search I always get a bunch of BS. Thanks in advance.

Just a quick question from a noob. I'm eligible for an upgrade (freaking took long enough) with AT&T (or Cingular...whatever they're calling themselves now). Anyway, since changing carriers isn't really an option for me, I'm thinking about a new phone, but I'm not sure if I should just go in and pick something they already have (I'm using a razr v3i...and it sux), or if I should wait for other phones? Problem is that I don't know what other phones might be coming out and I don't want another razr since this one sucks so bad.

I tried asking at the store, but the people there knew even less about what new phones were coming out than i did (gotta hand it to 'em, they really know how to keep their employees in the dark)
