COR employees...

How does the FAN discount on equipment work? If someone works for the Postal Service, they can just come in, and if they have that FAN on their account, but a phone for half off full retail no questions asked?

Thanks

Blackberry Curve Web Browser

I was wondering how good is the blackberry curve web browser? I am in grad school and taking my courses online. I was wondering if I would be able to view the schools website and if I would then be able to access their portal which many know as Blackboard or webCT. Thank you, any help would be appreciative... 🙂

3G Cingular Vs, 3G Sprint

Hello,

I Used to be Sprint Customer and have recently purchased Cingular(The new ATT). I have the Samsung Sync.

As of now we do not have any 3G In Denver For ATT, But When they do deploy it, will this allow music downloads to my phone (ota)?

Will the Picture Quality Be any better on the videos? it is already better than sprints, so far hasnt gotten all choppy like the sprint phones do.

And unmts, is that 3G voice or data, Cause i thought hspda was 3G For GSM.

Any Input would be great and appreciated!!! Thank you!!

Data Plan(s) Question: Part 2

Okay... I'm in data plan hell. Could someone help clear up some confusion please? ☚ī¸

Can someone explain the difference (other than price) between:

Data Connect (Unlimited)
PDA Connect (Unlimited)
SmartPhone Connect w/Xpress Mail (Unlimited)

It appears they all do the same thing, only there are different prices for different anticipated usage patterns based on the different devices (therefore Unlimited isn't really Unlimited).

Pics have surfaced of a new palm treo...codenamed gandolf...aimed to be a low end treo under 200buks...might even be touchscreen less...with wm6 and one with palm...but will this style be the form factor of the higher end treo's as well? e.g. treo-680 to 755p? Any thoughts news on this new treo..?

Question.......

Why don't most GSM phones let you include signatures with your texts. I've had several GSM phones like that. If this is the wrong forum for this question, I apologize; but I was just wondering about this.

I"'M TIRED OF THESE GAMES

I've been weighting for many months for info and the release date of the iphone. But apple and at&t just seems to be playing games with the public.
Not for nothing but thats not the way to win over customers, and customers from other carriers.

I've been a mac customer for 10 years now. Computers, notebooks and i pods. Now I have to play this guessing and weighting game just for a phone. Sorry you just lost me and my family's business.

I'm sure there are alot of other people who agree with me and I hope that apple realizes this and many of there other mistakes.
Mr. Jobs you've gone to far this time.

Bring on the iphone killers.

at&t employee considering switching to Verizon.

I need some advice about switching to Verizon from at&t as an employee. In my market verizon sales reps are paid much better than cingular/at&t reps, and I am trying to get a interview with a verizon manager. Have any of you guys swapped from verizon to us and like the job here better? What are the advantages of both carriers as jobs? Any info would be a lot of help. Thanks

at&t display on screen

does anyone know when our phones will stop reading "Cingular" and say "at&t" on the main screen display of the phone......is that something that can even be altered from the tower or is it automatically programmed in our phones. And the reason Im wondering is just curiousity.....i think it will be cool for it to say at&t instead of cingular! 🤤

Thinking of pickin up an at&t line...

... however I had a few questions.

I am obviously interested in the iPhone, but since reading more info on it, I had a couple of questions... I know info is still kinda limited, so I wont expect definate answers, just simple discussion.

Since the handset wont be compatible with IM/iChat, do you think there will be an alternative 3rd party app to allow this?

Also, why do you think they did not want to incorporate pix and flix msgs? Kinda wierd.

What about internet? Do you think it will be standard pricing or a specific all inclusing plan set for this handset?

Thanx in advance.
