Or lack of? Can anyone tell me why we don't have phones that even come close the the durability of Nextel? I have a lot of potential customers who would leave Nextel in a heartbeat if you have similar phones.....

I have verizon now but really want to purchase the Blackberry Pearl, which only Cingular and T-Mobile offer. Just wondering from you guys how the service and the phone are? Is it worth switching? And anything other info you think would help me choose..

Does anyone know when the phones will be re branded to the AT&T blue color. I really don't like the Black/Orange color scheme on my Sync (love the phone though). Wish there was a way to change it. I would really prefer the Blue color then Orange. Seems like the N75 menu is Orange and black, can it be changed?

I used my Dad's T-Mobile phone today, and I was shocked when I realized that there were no hiccups on his phone! AT ALL! I used it for about 5 mins though...

Does Cingular / AT&T impose some practical limit on buying a phone and then returning it within the 30-day timeframe? (i.e., Once? Twice? Within some number of days timeframe? etc)

Is it true for you direct employees that AT&T is instituting a black out period for vacation time that coincides with the iPhone launch?

Here is the link, stating that AT&T expects an overwhelming response when the phone launches and wants to have everyone on hand to make sure things are handled smoothly.

What are your feelings about this? I think this is just a tad bit excessive for a phone launch and a bit unfair to those of you who want to take their vacation at the height of summer when most people do so.

This is my Cingular experiance.

Cingular has been the best phone company that I have had. When I personally had Sprint and T-Mobile, I had the most mistakes on my bills. With Cingular *Knock On Wood* I've never called. The only complaint I have would be the Customer Service Reps. in the stores, some are professional, while others...are...well...not.

Coverage The only place that I do not get coverage thus far is in Northbrook Court Mall, in Northbrook, IL. Otherwise, I think I have had service constantly. Where I use to loose signal with Sprint/T-Mobile, I have found that my phone gets atleast 2 bars. Cingular has 3G, T-mobile doesn't. Sprints EV-DO is great too.

what's up with cingular getting the razr maxx? i have seen the GSM version for europe and it looks sweet....any rumors on cingular getting the maxx?

AT&T Mobility did not do a great job during this first quarter of 2007 with the problems that T-Mobile USA and Sprint continues to have by only gaining 1.2 million net new subscribers, which was well below my target for them, and well below their first qt 2006 numbers which is showing me some signs of problems to come. I was a bit surprised to see that low of a number compared to YoY periods, but there are some catalysts though such as the IPHONE and the continued rollouts of HSDPA but for the voice side they are no match to Verizon Wireless who continues to outpace the industry.

I see that the LG CU500v has been released, but I don't see the feature anywhere....

I'm in a store, and early this morning I get a call from a customer in the Bahamas. She had called in to customer service and had the data connect feature added to her account, and the rep told her all she would need is the tutorial to set it up.

I suggested she call my store back in 30 minutes to give me time to research the account and see just whats going on, so she'd save on the undoubtedly high bill that the satellite call is going to cost her.

It turns out the rep future dated her plan so that it's not even active yet. Currently, Internet service is blocked. She has no international roaming provisioned either. I'm waiting on her to call back, at which time I'll verify the type of phone and hopefully get her computer set up af...

I have a customer who wanted to use her sony ericsson s710 as modem for her laptop. She wanted to hook it up through bluetooth.
It didn't work. She called customer care and was told that it would only work through infared. She came into the store and I called customer care. They informed me that she couldn't use that phone as a modem at all. So we called Sony Ericson and he informed us that it would work. She is on the phone with them right now. Anybody know what is going on?

75% of calls I get from prepaid customers is to add funds. Our IVR SUCKS! Especially since that recent change to voice automated instead of using the keypad. I have no doubt that 50% of these customers are just victims of the IVR. The other 50% need to READ THE BACK OF THE FREAKIN' CARD! There are about 6 different prepaid PINs. One type can be added through the IVR...when it works, but the other 5 have special 800 #s to call. FastCard, Blackstone, Blackhawk and universal FastCards all use different IVRs to add funds. Often, I get calls from customers who just activated their phone and the IVR does give the option to add additional PINs, but only Cingular Pay As You Go cards, not 3rd party vendor cards. I don't get all the fuss about the iPhone...when you can easily get an unlocked LG KE850 Prada phone. The phone Apple obviously coppied in design and features...why all the hype...and wait...?
