Any idea when the Samsung zx20 will be released? I want to buy a new phone, but am waiting for that one.

Sorry if this is a total noob question....If I buy an unlocked phone that is compatable with cingulars system (nokia n73) how do i go about getting a sim card for it? I also want to be able to subscribe to many features such as internet access, text and picture message, etc......

Specifically in the Babylon Village area, south of Montauk Highway? I am moving there within the next few months and would like to understand how the service is there... I am looking to port from Verizon and I would like to keep my number. I know I have a 30 day trial period, but incase I don't like it, porting it back could get "Messy" and this number is vital to me. Any info would be nice... I also saw the map, and it says the service is good, not "best." It's always better to get a hands on experience with these things.

👿 I'm pissed off right now because I just received a 20 score on a secret shop because the shopper said I was not interested in making a sale.

The funny thing about this is I work in a mall kiosk which is hit or miss with customer most days but on Tax Free Weekend when I'm trying to sell phones to every person who comes around my kiosk I get a secret shopper who says I didn't care. The last time I was busy and got shopped I used the same sales process with the sheet and everything and got a 100 but now I'm disinterested. Well maybe I should just quit because I don't want to make money now in the eyes of my bosses even though I've been increasing sales at this kiosk since I got here and improving customer service which this place lac...

My friend is looking for a device that has either of these.

I know the 6515 is the only device with GPS, but I was wondering if anyone knew how much it cost for the subscription? Is it monthly? Annually? One time fee? I need information on that.

Also, I know that Google Maps work with Blackberrys, seamlessly. Does anyone know if they also work with Windows Mobile devices?

I had a family plan contract for over 2 years. I have started with AT&T. I think that currently there is no plan on the market to match what I have.

What I am asking here is how to preserve the plan/payments I currently have and upgrade my phones.

I have spoken to cingular customer service but they could not offer anything besides buying some old nokia brick phones.

Any idea when this will happen? Seems like it would be soon, Denver is not that small of a city

Hey guys I don't know if you all know this, but when you are adding pre-paid pins to someone's pay-as-you-go account, if they have a gsm phone you can just do this..........*888*prepaid-pin#send key, and it adds the time on automatically. Just FYI

Anyone know of any detailed Cingular map going down to the street as does Tmobile... I was thinking of switching to Cingular but was nervous of the lack of reception down by the water (South of Montauk Hwy in Babylon Village.) I know that Tmobile doesn't work down there and since they are both GSM users, that kind of scares me a bit... Thanks for any info.

Shouldnt Cingy be upset with the quality of handsets provided by Moto or the fact that they cannot provide a device at least EDGE capable at this point but LG and Sammy can do that and provide HSDPA/UMTS.

With everyone going towards 3G, and the installation of UMTS, will GSM eventually be discontinued in the same way that TDMA is being scrapped?

I really hope that GSM does not go away because I am not about to give up my Nokia 6010 anytime soon.

I just had a Cingular customer in my store looking to port over (to VZW). He had to call into Cingulars customer service to find out when his contract ended. While he was on the phone with a customer service rep he started going off on a tangent about how the rep "had no respect for somebody his age(60)" and how he was just some young punk and should be fired. He completely tore the rep apart for pretty much no reason.

I know you are all glad we are getting this customer becasue he is bound to do it to us.

Anyway just wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to the rep that had to take this guys call.

I just got cingular yesterday, and thus far I'm really impressed. At my house, I used to get 1 bar of reception with verizon, if I was lucky, with cingular I get 4/5 bars, if not full.
Anyway, for the first month, they're giving me unlimited data, so I'm playing around with that. I just tried out mobile AIM, and I've noticed that not all of my online buddies show up in the buddy list. How do I fix this?
