What problems have you had with your new 64k sim cards, where they 2g or 3g?

Which sim cards are the problem ones?
Whats going on with them?

Can someone explain this HSDPA stuff to me?

I understand that it is capable of higher speed then EVDO rev 0 and even rev A. But how does that translate into anything for the consumer? EVDO is capable of over 2mb/s, but I really don't see that being utilized on a wireless network. I don't even get those speeds with my comcast cable. It'd be great to have an aircard capable of 8 mb/s at an affordable price, but what are you going to do with it?

Samsung ZX20 or Nokia 6282

OK guys I have an LG CU500 and this is a great phone don't get me wrong. The only problem is that I hate the razr and this phone feel exactly like the razr except it's a little more uncomfortable that the razr.

I love the Samsung D807 because of the slider option, but I want 3G. So this makes me think that the Nokia 6282 would be a great option. I also love the Samsung platform, so I think the Samsung ZX20 would be a great option. Does anyone actually know when these phones are going to be available?

Somebody help me out!

TDMA fee

I love this idea. Do you guys think this will finally make them switch to GSM? Other carrier?
What do you think the percentage (of TDMA users) will be by the end of the year?
It's only 8% now. I would think that by mid-next year very few people will have TDMA...

Indoor coverage/reception

Just want to get a general idea of reception while indoors with Cingular from everyone.

Please list the type of phone as well since reception is often determined by type of phone.

Thank you!

Handset Exchange Program

Hey everyone,

I recently called Cingular to see about exchanging my phone because it's had so many problems. I have the Samsung SGH-P207 that was discontinued by Cingular 2 months after its release because of glitches and other complaints. They told me they would send me a new phone, but they're actually sending me the same Samsung model. Why are they sending me the same phone if it has so many problems? Thanks for any help given.

3G in Tampa

A buddy emailed me earlier to let me know that he has HSDPA in Tampa. I was not aware of the release of HSDPA there. Did anyone hear anything? 😕 Is this a soft launch? If so, when is the official launch date?
