replacing a phone through lockline/xbm/warranty exchange (whatever you wanna call it). hurts your ARPU which could have an effect on your upgrade date.

my friend is getting a new phone when her contract is up. she has a v400 and she offered it to me for $10. i want to get it because i get bored of phones easily and i could just slip my SIM card in when i get bored of my SLVR or W600i...should i take it just for the heck of it??? thanks...

I friend call me today to get help choosing a Cingular phone becuase she wants to port over from Nextel. So I logged on to cingular.com and I was shocked to see how many few options there are... Same old phones! I just told her to get a 6102i or an LG cg225. Hopefully something else will come out within her 30 days so she can do an exchange or something... WTF is happening? and why can't we release something NEW!!! We went from 6102 to 6102i (oh yeah, great!) and from z520a to z525a (no ****) These are basically the same old phones with minor differences!

I think that I am a soon to be ex-Verizon subscriber. I wanted to get a general idea from everyone about call quality/reception/service from Cingular. I borrowed my mothers phone (she has Cingular), and it get full reception in areas where I got no reception from Verizon. I live in the Boston area, but I often travel to Miami, Chicago, San Juan, and San Diego. So if I can get any input from people in the above areas, that would be a big help to me. Thanks a lot! 🙂

Does anyone have an idea if cingular is going to get the sony ericsson w900i? I was looking at it online and i love it. I think it is better then the se w810i. Any information please write back.

Im due for an upgrade. Actually, Ive been due for about a month now but the current phone selection is pure garbage. The only one I would consider is the Samsung d807. I wont spend over $200 on a phone.

I've been waiting for the V3i but it just hasnt arrived. It was rumored to land in late June but it never happened.

How much longer should I wait? And which phone would be the best bet. I sort of regret getting my last phone and having a POS for 2 yrs is annoying. This ear peice on this Motorola v400 sucks.

The V3i would be fine. Hopefully they have fixed some of the "issues" the v3 had.

The Krzr looks neat but when the hell will it arrive. There is also the Samsung d807 and the new SE phone thats coming.

I upgraded last friday at my local cingular store to a cingular 8125. after a day i realized i didn't need such a business centric phone since i only liked the keyboard. so i returned it within those 30 days ( i returned it on the 3rd day) wanting a refund.

after a little arguing and getting mad i "got" the refund, but now I am uneligable to get the upgrade online.

I want to upgrade to the cu500 because it has the whole hdspa or hpsda however which way it is.. and would probably have cool video.

but my cingular store doesn't offer it yet. so i told them i'd do it online because their phone selection at the store sucked

and i've yet to receive my refund to my bank account, and after contacting cus...

Any word out on this phones release date? I had heard mid july however its lookin a little grim. I noticed both 6126 and V3i have rebates available for 23rd on.

the new jd survey shows that vzw and t-mobile are tied for first in customer care perormance alltel ranks second and sprint/nextell and cingular rank last . Its prett funny that cingular and sprint/nextell got beat by alltel especially since the only have one fifth the customer base people can say all they want that these surveys are meaningless but its not an independent research company coming up with own data this the voice of the people.
