Hear you have it folks the proof is in the pudding. Verizon better customer service and Tmob better customer service and better priced when compared to Cingular. So why is it then that Cingular is the biggest GSM company in the US?

AT&T rewrites rules: Your data isn't yours

AT&T has issued an updated privacy policy that takes effect Friday. The changes are significant because they appear to give the telecom giant more latitude when it comes to sharing customers' personal data with government officials.

The new policy says that AT&T -- not customers -- owns customers' confidential info and can use it "to protect its legitimate business interests, safeguard others, or respond to legal process."

The policy also indicates that AT&T will track the viewing habits of customers of its new video service -- something that cable and satellite providers are prohibited from doing.

Working in a call center and being intimately familiar with the billing systems, I know lots of work arounds, but since I'm not on the phones anymore, I've been wondering about something: Is there no way to simply avoid the system upgrade? I'm not sure how relevant this would be, but if someone needed to upgrade, and I (for whatever reason) decided to bend policy, I could simply order them the phone using the "phone only" option, bill them the price, then manually extend their contract in the system. I just checked my permissions, and I could still do that easily, is it not possible to do something like that in a store?

I know there are a lot of posts about the new upgrade policy but I just wanted to throw this out there. If we are giving bad deals to unprofitable customers, are we going to give BETTER deals to customers that are profitable. Like if you are a good customer you get a free bluetooth headset when you get a new bluetooth phone or a free razr or something?

I hear it out........how much.......1 year 2 year and non-contract? If anyone knows the corporate pricing stature please post. Also...is it ONLY available for purhcase in 3G data markets?

i've been searching for different applications that work on windows mobile 5 devices, because i just recently got the 8125.

i was wondering if itunes could work on it ?

Ok. Say I want to renew my contract in November. I am a customer that paid Full retail for my phone PLUS a $500 deposit to get service with cingular because I was just out of bankruptcy and that's what all of the phone carriers wanted from me at the time. Now come november if I decide I want to renew my contract am I eligible for a new phone at a discount?
I pay at least $75/month for my service and the reason I know I paid full retail because when I called to see what happened to my rebate they told me their system said I hadn't paid a bill and I said I wanted to dispute it they told me they couldn't do anything about it, that I wasn't getting a rebate.

It took some doing, but I finaly found a loop hole to order the CU 500 online. I dont live in a 3G market. It was a lot of trouble but better than paying $1000.00 for it on eBay.

I don't see how in the long run cingular is making themselves more money by indirectly asking customers to leave with this new upgrade policy. Once people start leaving and are angry, they'll tell all their friends not to go to to cingular. Word will get out to avoid cingular. That's how it works. If you make one person mad, you make their friends and family unhappy as well, and they migrate to a new company.

this is some $hit!!!. customers having problems with their service. suprise, surpise. And now cingular got a lawsuit on their hands lol. Hope the customers get everything they deserve back it looks good on cingular.

I have talked to several Dept's at Cingular and I'm getting conflicting answers.

I want to use a GO Phone in the Bahamas and on a Royal Caribbean ship. GO Phone sales told me that once I established a GO Phone account I could call Customer Service and they will add the International Roaming capability. I called International Customer Care and they told me International Roaming isn't available on GO Phone.

Can anyone tell me who's correct?

I recieved a letter from cingular stated that I need to get a new 64k sim card. DO they know what card people are using and how do they know this? DO I have to get this new card or what will happen if I just stay with my 32k card? Why do they want me to get the new 64k card?
