senior voice plan for $29

I'm thinking of upgrading my data plan from a standard phone to a smart phone plan with unlimited texting. I barely use any voice minutes a month and am interested in the $29 senior plan. I called my local store and they just mentioned it as the 200 min plan and i can change to it no problem..but kept wanting me to get a smartphone first, which i want to upgrade my phone anyway. Do u really gotta be over 65 or can they offer it to anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Simple rules to be happy with any service provider

1) Use the trial period to insure you get coverage where you need it.
2) Find a phone that does what you NEED it to do.
3) Pick a plan that fits your needs.
4) Review your bill monthly and pay it on time.
5) Treat your phone like the expensive electronic equipment it is.
6) Expect to only get a discount on a new phone within the guidelines set forth by your provider.

My thoughts on the iphone...

Almost everything on the iphone is contingent on data being available. When you have no service, you lose the ability to have a phone that is functional. Most apps need data as well, therefore when data is not present, you have no phone. My biggest problem with the iphone, lies in it's inability to be customized. I am used to cellphones that are user-defined. Moreover the notion that I can only use Bluetooth for stereo sound or a Bluetooth headset is ridiculous. My cellphone should be an extension of me. Also I have always loved the fact that I could add any info I wanted to my phone. Apple seems to believe that by having an iphone means I have to buy there apps and music. I think that is bullshit. Lastly the biggest problem is that the cam...

Samsung Flight A797 Messaging Problem

Has anyone experienced this....
I receive 3-4 texts a week from #32623 ~ have been for years ~ never a problem with my old LG Shine or Razrs. It's just the hockey score, nothing fancy - no pics, videos, web links, dancing reindeer...nothing - just the score of the game.

I got a new Samsung Flight and have had major texting issues. The incoming texts work for a while, but then suddenly stop completely. (Outgoing texts still work fine during this time) Customer Service & Technical support have gone on a wild fishing expedition trying to figure out the problem. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them. In 7 days I have had 3 new Flights, 2 new SIM cards, done many master resets, powered on/off/on/off/o...

Changing phone number

I am inquring, does anyone know if you have to wait 60 days before changing your phone number? (of course, a $36 fee) And would you still have to wait if you were porting a number into an existing at&t account..and would the fee still apply on a port in?

Kharma QA1 tethering, question

I just attempted to tether the Kharma qa1 for ATT. I d'led Comm. Manager 7.0, then did motorola phone tools using the cd, then d'led the update (which the software said it was up-to-date). No luck either way. Phone was in USB Communication mode, not media Sync or Data Sync.

Specs: Brand new Windows 7 32-bit OS laptop.

Has anyone gotten this phone to tether, ever?

at&t drops tiger woods...

...not a big deal since they have been dropping my damn phone calls in San Diego for years. 3G service on my iphone is a joke. They should give me $15.00 back for using Edge service instead of that spotty and unreliable service. Too go further, my wife and I get a flyer in the mail at the start of December to purchase an at&t device that will improve my cellphone service. Why in the hell would I want to pay extra for a device. I pay enough already for what is supposed to be advertised when I started my service. They promised me five bars but now I have to pay extra for a viagra cellphone device. Seriously, at&t sucks! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Questions for COR employees

I currently work for an att authorized retailer and I dont mean to toot my own horn but I post pretty good numbers. I was trying to see what else is out there in the industry in terms of better pay and benefits. My question to you guys is how do you guys get paid? Is it on a gross profit system or do you make commision on a sale by sale basis? Also, is there hourly pay too and are there benefits? Any response is appreciated and thank you in advance.
