No more i-Phone sales in NYC?
6 months to pay Early Termination Fee?
I have heard multiple people (employees and customers alike) talk about this, however in searching through official company rules and on the internet at the FCC website I was able to find no such thing.
Anyone ever heard this? Have any official documentation?

Looking for a Good Replacement to the Samsung Eternity, Either Impression or Mythic?
- LG Vu (Crap, Battery problems (i.e., Batteries don't last too long)
- LG Xenon (Cheaply made phone, Keyboard is too small for my fingers to legitimately type on it. Also the slider keyboard has been known to break rather easily)
-Samsung Solstice (Has the same problem of freezing up and powering off as my Eternity so not an option)
-Samsung Impression (Only legit option except is has no 3.5 ...

Sony Ericsson X10= Great Way To Compete w/ VZW Android....
The X10 Runs on Android.
So AT&T could actually have an Android phone made by Sony Ericsson.
-The X10 is 8.1 MP (VZW 5.0MP) Cam.
This is a good chance, but I doubt AT&T will pick this up and promote it. We were shocked that they actually picked up the C905a, which has finally caught on with our customers.
Time will Tell.
question from Potential AT&T customer
My question is with VZW you get 30 days to return a phone for any reason, do you get the same sort of grace period from AT&T?
I want to go ahead and switch to get my with the iPhone but I'm looking at either the BB Bold 9700 or Nokia E71x and would probably rather the Palm Pixi or one of the other rumored phones heading to AT&T.
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.
AT&T survives Operation Chokehold

Ma Bell's wireless network is still standing after Friday's grassroots iPhone attack
The appointed hour — Friday, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. PST — came and went and AT&T's (T) wireless had not been brought to its knees, despite the best efforts of thousands of Apple (AAPL) iPhone users.
"As far as I can tell, there’s been no impact at all," wrote Dan Lyons in The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs at 12:19 p.m. "My iPhone is working just the same as ever. "
It was Lyons, writing as Fake Steve Jobs, who on Monday had encouraged iPhone owners to overwhelm AT&T's network by turning on a data-intensive app and running it for an hour. Operation Chokehold, as he dubbed it, was intended as a protest against AT&T's thre

"Steve" "Jobs" has work for you to do
Subject: Operation Chokehold
On Friday, December 18, at noon Pacific time, we will attempt to overwhelm the AT&T data network and bring it to its knees. The goal is to have every iPhone user (or as many as we can) turn on a data intensive app and run that app for one solid hour. Send the message to AT&T that we are sick of their substandard network and sick of their abusive comments. THe idea is we’ll create a digital flash mob. We’re calling it in Operation Chokehold. Join us and speak truth to power!
Remember to turn OFF your Wi-Fi during that hour. There would be NO point if a bunch of people are browsing YouTube in their office...

Verizon 3G Network Collapses In Several Cities In The US.
July 21, 2010
After losing its exclusivity contract with Apple last week, many AT&T iPhone users have switched to Verizon Wireless who released the iPhone just a little over a week ago. It's is estimated that approximately 8% of iPhone users have made the switch to Verizon Wireless, and they are already putting the Wireless giant that for many years has claimed to have "the most reliable network" in a sticky situation.
Reports are coming from Boston, Chicago, NYC, Miami, San Francisco and many other cities throughout the US of poor service, dropped calls, sporadic data speeds. A call to Verizon Wireless was not immediately returned.
In the meantime, Verizon Wireless stores don't have the iPhone in stock. It's esti...
