Nokia E72????

What are the chances that AT&T will pick up the E72 anytime soon? My wife has decided that she wants an iPhone so it looks like we are switching to AT&T. My problem is that I had narrowed my preferences to the new BB Bold or the Nokia E71, and then I saw the E72 on Nokia’s web site. It pretty much ups all the hardware from the E71, processor, camera, touchpad, I think even more memory. But AT&T doesn’t carry this phone yet. We would head down and switch tomorrow if I could get the E72 so what are the chances they will get it in the next month?

Buying cellphone parts. Where?

I want to replace the keypad on my W610i. It's chrome coating has fallen off making the phone look ugly. I called SE, but they said they don't sell parts. What gives? Does anyone know of a (trusty) website where I can buy just the keypad from?

No impressive deals…yet.

So yesterday ATT had $50 refurb iPhone 3GS (Not bad) but they ran out of 16GB black ones, obviously. Now they’ve got 2 free Blackberries the Pearl and old Curve (who wants those). And they’re offering waived activation and free shipping which is nice but still waiting for better deals. Of course their 4 days of deals isn’t over so better may still come.

ATT or verizon wireless which one has better voice coverage?

which has better voice coverage other than data? for those who have verizon or att phones when you look at your phone i noticed on att the signal goes up and down even without moving from one spot. does the same thing happen on verizon phones? in other words does att phones hold on to network signal better or does verizon have a more steady signal in most areas? i want to order cell service but i am stuck between these two? att and verizon has nice touch screen phones the only thing is you have to get a data plan to get those phones. would you get the data plan even though you may not want it just to get the better touch screen phones?

Adding a line question?

I'm thinking of adding a new line to my account but was hoping it could just be for one year instead of two. Is this even possible? I know I would have to pay more for the phone, but that is not an issue.

We have about 9 months left on our existing plan, and will switch over to a one year contract when we renew.

Thanks

How DARE AT&T...

...sue Verizon for claiming their customers won't have any luck getting online in non-3G areas, and that they will be "out of touch"?

Don't they realize that Verizon is being completely honest in their commercials when they tell people that no 3G= no service?

Frankly, I'm glad we have Big Red to set us all straight about their superior network; one that renders all others "useless" by comparison.

By David Beasley and Amy Thomson

Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- AT&T Inc., the largest U.S. phone company, lost its bid to stop a Verizon Wireless advertising campaign that AT&T says unfairly depicts its network coverage.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten said that while the ads, which use maps to compare the companies’ third-generation networks, might be “sneaky” or “clever,” they are “literally true.” AT&T will have another chance to ask the court to prohibit the ads in a Dec. 16 hearing. Batten said AT&T is unlikely to prevail.

Verizon’s “There’s a Map for That” ad suggests that AT&T customers can’t f...

BB 9700

So today I was holding a Blackberry Bold 9000 in my left hand and a Blackberry Bold 9700 in my right hand. Hands down the 9700 is the most easy to use BB that I've dealt with. The trackpad is great and the keypad is so solid that I was blown away how loose the keys are on the 9000. I was amazed at how quick the browser was and how nice the screen is.

Disappointed in Verizon

Does anyone else find it interesting that Verizon was the first carrier to start running "negative" ads? I'm not disputing the facts or views in the ads, just the fact that they are truly the first really "attack ads" that I have seen from a wireless carrier. Verizon to me always seemed like the company that let it's network and customer service do all the talking - to me these negative ads are somewhat of a disappointment - I seriously hope they don't start a round of every carrier bashing each other.
