Cingul-AIR(like we do air conditioning or basketball shoes!!)

Cingul-AIR, man i gotta love that new allergy drug singulairand their commercials, half my customers call us that, it drives me nuts like..."i gots me one of those new Cingul-air fones , u know with the GMS/GSA/PSM/MSG technology..." 🙄 ... GSM, isit that hard to remember, why not call it global? it helps, just a vent, but when someone says cingulair was abble to look up her order with her zip code, and calling me stupid, when we cannot ship to her address, and after 1/2 hr mapquest shows her adress is alma ROAD, not alma DRIVE (RD. vs DR) it really makes me want an IQ test for wirelss users, Or dyslexia disclaimer on our profile screens to aid in billing disputes 🙂

Dear Elderly Customers...

I understand getting old is upsetting and causes such disorders like stubborness and the ability to irritate others.

But this is an example of just wasting everybodies time...

Customer escalated to me because was not setup for autopay when migrated to ATTWS... Yes we apologized and offered to setup for autopay... Here's the kicker. Instead of resolving the issue, giving me the card number and everyone be on their merry way he refuses to provide the card # and wants us to research to find out his card number?!

He's on his way to escalate to my AM... What kind of reasoning is it to make life harder and drag out this situation instead of resolving it? Guy is like close to 90 years old.

SEATTLE - Seattle businessman Don Etsekson has his life wired. A simple cable allows him to synchronize computers at home, at the office and in his pocket every day like clockwork.

But an onslaught of illegal spam and unrequested downloads to his new "smart phone" racked up a $9,000 bill -- for being wireless.

And Etsekson said that when he called his carrier, AT&T Wireless, now Cingular, no one was able to help him. advertisement

Customer: if you are upset about your bill

Customers...I know sometimes you get a bill in the mail you were not expecting, and I know sometimes you get angry about that, but PLEASE... if you insist upon arguing with your provider about the bill, try to have SOME sort of VALID reason. The most common IDOTIC things I hear are:
1.- "I don't need to look at the call detail, KNOW I didn't talk that much!"... I mean COME ON! if you called in and said "I know i don't have wings, but I KNOW I can fly" do you expect anyone to beleive that either. READ YOUR FREAKING BILL!

2.- "there's a billing error here because my mobil to mobil should be free, and there's some (follow me) charges here. you need to adjust my bill because it's a mistake!"
Unless you personally were one of the programmer...

Cingular Email on Blackberry

Has anyone succesfully forwarded their @cingular.com email to their blackberry?

I get as far as the screen where you have to put in the

Outlook™ Web Access URL:

Mailbox Name:


Email Address:

User Name:


Password:

Re-enter Password:


But i don't know what to put for the outlook web access URL. http://exchange/exchange/logon.asp doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

people that come up and say they want a "celery" phone should not be waited on. also i wish people that come up and say "i already have cellular" would realize that its cingular (just as the signs,posters,phones and bills say!). please send me one intelligent person today...

Americans have it good

There are a few outages in the states. Voicemail does not work in California yeah sure but what can customer care do for you?
Absolutely nadda. The issues are in critical condition, so being looked after asap. You want a credit for your months service. I do feel bad cause I know alot of people use there cell as a LL but it states in your terms and conditions WE DO NOT GUARENTEE %100 SERVICE ALL OF THE TIME.
Try living in Canada. One example $39.99 for 150 mins and you pay for detailed billing, voice mail, etc. That is a quick sample of how you guys have it so bad.

"A technical failure at a Cingular Wireless switching station in southwest Idaho left an undetermined number of the company's cellular customers in Boise, Nampa and Mountain Home without service for about three hours Monday.

Cingular spokeswoman Anne Marshall said technicians in three states finally managed to restore service about 5:30 p.m.

Marshall said no other customers in Idaho were affected. She declined to say how many customers in the Treasure Valley lost their cell phone service.

"It goes without saying that we apologize to our Idaho customers for any inconvenience," Marshall said.

Parents, as a rule, should either give their children the maximum amount of feature capability or restrict everything down to basic fone functionality. I had a customer who has the new ppu scale for wix, .03 per KB, and her son ran rampant on MobiTV. He used 20,000+ KB in about a 14 day period and she is paying for it. It's too bad that parents don't pay attention to the power of features like this to drain their pockets or govern their kids' access to these features. I don't feel any sympathy for this woman but I wish there was a way to warn ALL parents at once.

XBM Question

Here's a good one--if a knucklehead customer has to replace their phone through XBM, and they fail to follow instructions from the XBM rep and send the back of the phone and the battery into XBM (even though XBM only sends out the phone body itself--duh), is there any way for the customer to get a new back and battery for the phone from XBM? The customer we had that did this says XBM told her she would just have to keep checking with stores in her area to see if they had any parts available. Huh?? Suggestions and chuckles appreciatively accepted.
