Im heading up to big bear california and was wondering if cingular had service up in that part of california or not.

Hey i know this is the cingular forum not the moto v600 forum but i figured i'd ask anyway. Im having problems with the email settings on my phone. i looked in csp and finnaly got the settings correct but when i go to connect to the remote mailbox it gives me an messages saying invalid password/userid. i know that i've entered both my password and id correct. any thoughts?? I don't know if this is the best way to describe it, but for instance:

If I want to send my friend an e-mail from my computer to his T-Mobile phone, I would sent it to [email protected]. He would get it the same way he get's sms. Well, this friend doesn't have T-Mobile he has cingular...I'm sure cingular has something like that, but someone mind telling me what it is please?

i bought a v551 and never mailed in my rebate is it too late to do it?

When I first signed with Cingular I got the Sony Ericsson T637 for 19.99. I was on www.cingular.com looking around and I stumbled upon a rebate for the T637, but it was only valid if you payed $119 for it.

Well, I decided to print it out, fill it out and send it in for the hell of it. And to my surprise, they sent me a rebate check for it.

Not that im complaining, I'm really happy about it! 😁 Making money for buying a phone is always sweet.

Hate to say this with all the problems lately, but I jut got a report from my rep that California is having system issues. It is sporadic (sp?) meaning I haven't had problems but have had lots of calls from customers. This outage is from Far northern california to Los Angeles. Techs are saying should be back to normal in a couple hours.. 😕

Am new Cingular customer, as of April 6. Did boatload of research before selecting phones for wife and I, and prevailing opinion/evidence was that the z500 had at least a 5 hour talk time and more often than not a 10 hour tt was listed.

Received phones, and box lists 3.5 hour tt. Wife and I are realizing that ACTUAL tt is no where near 10 hour reported talk time. Is there a phone that I can use with Cingular that has better ACTUAL talk time, and if there is, can I switch phones without paying an arm and a leg?

PLEASE HELP. So far, we are very happy with Cingular, just not so impressed with z500 battery life.

When I first heard about the Cingular/ATTWS merger I was really interested in finding out more info about how this will affect customers. I was told by many reps that customers will benefit in many different ways. To name a few:
Better rate plans
More phones
Faster rollout of phones
Improved customer service
free mobile to mobile to 46million people
better network

so far, ive seen the mobile to mobile part... but im not sure about the rest. I was really positive about this merger, but lately, i've been re-thinking this whole thing. I really like having Cingular as my wireless carrier, don't get me wrong, its just where are these lower prices?? Rate plans have increased in price, there no better prices on phones either. The Nokia 3220 and Samsung p207 both are expected to be released on Cingular anytime soon.

These phones are very unique in their own right, the Nokia has light-up sides and changeable covers. The Samsung employs speech-to-text dictation technology.

Does anyone know when we might see either of these phones released?

Ok so Im thinking about getting the black Razr v3 'cause my s710a is frustrating. It decides if itll allow me to get on the internet or not, the buttons arent responsive, my AOL IM wont stay logged on (which i just found out it uses kb instead of text messages like verizon :evil🙂, and the interface is too slow and buggy....

So my question is...I like using my phone for AOL IM but the black Razrs say they have Wireless Village IM. What the 😈 is that? Does that include AOL IM? I know I should be posting this in the Razr forum but hardly anyone responds there anymore. Another question is...Does anyone know if you can use the speakerphone with the flip closed on the black Razr? Any info would be great. Thanks guys... 😳

I read on the VZW forum, that starting Apr 18th, they're getting Mobile to mobile text messaging.
Such as 9.99 for unlimited VZW to VZW texts and 250 non-VZW texts. Anyone think Cingular will follow suit?

So i have a question for all of you. I am a new hire orange rep and im working in a former blue store w/ all blue employees. Ive just been wondering why all the former blue reps seem to be leaving the company and such? why are they all so against cingular? fill me in guys. . .

Okay i tried to write soemthing but my internet explorer crashed and now i have to rewrite. To make a logn story short i got a warranty replacement phone. On my old one i had 3 games worth about 20 bucks. When i was getting it replaced lady told me to get refund on the 3 games and then use credit to repurchase them. I tried that but they got denied. So i call cingualr and after getting transfered 5 times i find out it can't be done. Instead what i should do is buy the games again and then get a refund. I try that with 1 game and get denied. I call em up, get transfered, then am told they can't do anything since i had 3 refund already on things they screwed up like buying a ringtone for someone then they couldn't get it.
