Anybody else have a problem with this new Cingular training?? Like, we cant transfer calls anymore, we have to use Mute instead of hold, and our AHT is more important than Quality? No warm transfers? I dont know about you, but I think that this is horrible. The last few things that helped me realyl assist the customer are being taken away and undervalued. Having short calls and making Cingular more money is now more important than HELPING the customer. And where, may i ask, is my raise in all of this? All the "extra money" Cingular will be making? Apparently I'm supposed to look on this with a business perspective (says my TL). I feel like marching into the directors office and telling him to stand up for himself instead of being Cingular's ...

ok, i have an unlocked a630 and im trying to use the internet on the phone but its configured for tmobile... i called 611 and the girl was dumb, she kept thinking i was trying to get an unlock code from her... all i need is the settings for cingulars internet.. please help.

Ok, had a blue customer call wanting to migrate to orange and add a line on the 3/27. She got the phones and called me back because the migrated number wouldnt activate. Called care, said they needed the sim/imei number, give the customer a call back conference them in with care (market 42 by the way) The care rep added the imei and sim #, activated the line, care rep dropped off the line customer had some more questions, one of them wanting to confirm the billing address. Put her phone # back in telepos 1, some how some way the number got moved to a different customers account. Still had the correct user information at the mobile level, but under a totally different account. Called care back to get the number moved back to the right account...

Do the US prepaid cards work in the US with a prepaid phone(Cingular acct.) from Panama?

I have a question for any C&A Reps who may be on this forum: why is it that some credit apps come back $150 deposit based on limited credit info, and some come back as $500 based on limited credit info? If anybody can fill me in on this I would really appreciate it.

I've never really known what it is, and CSP doesnt help. Can anyone give me the basics of it and explain the charges. This should also help some customers.

ok so from what i hear u cant set mp3's on the phone as ringers b/c cingular wants u to buy them...

1) Does this hold ip for unlocked phones as well?

2)can u listen to the mp3's through the earpiece, if so how loud is it?

3)Does it have a headset jack, if so what kind, can u use standard headphones or do u need specific ones?

4)overall how is this phone w/ reception, mp3's and the camera?

I'm in a blue BEUC rep and one of my teammates was just told by a TSD rep that Cingular customers cannot send text messages to Verizon customers 🤣 . Who told them that and why are they a tech rep. Mind you its not a MMS just an SMS. That the funniest thing (and worst for a tech rep 🙄 ) that I have ever heard 🤣 .

I understand the "die-hard" loyalty that some people have toward their cariers, but honestly...its getting a bit too repetative and hence becomming annoying....If you want to flame a post, or troll around on a different carriers forum please go somewhere else...you're taking away from our customer bashing and our ability to help real customers with real problems...

Well I am planning on getting a moto v551 and give my v400 to a friend who has a 64k sim? My v400 was sent to me from insurance claim at the end of augest? How do I know if it is capable of a 64k sim, and if it isn't is there a way to make it work or will it just function as a 32k sim.

I have found a way of making ringtones but they are wasting my phones memory by so much like 700-900kb per song so is there a way to make the memory usage less because I saw that the amount of second per tone is the same if I were to buy it from at&t and it isn't like the 700-900kb im using up but it is from 40-90kb which is alot less. I have been noticed that the bit rate is 160 kbps and the bit rate for the tones I bought from at&t are 32-64kbps so I was thinking if that was the reason why my memory usage was so high so if anyone knows how to make the bit rate less from a song on the computer to send to my phone please reply or if anyone knows how to make the songs memory less
