A few Questions....

I had a few questions that have no real relevance I just want to know the answer.

1. what frequency did Cingular and ATT use on their TDMA networks? Who used the other TDMA frequency? I know there was 850 and 1900 frequencies used.

2. What is happening to these TDMA networks now, especially in Middle TN.

3. What is ENS?

4. Is the nokia 6340i or the 7250i ENS capable?

5. UMTS/WCDMA rollout progress, especially in Middle TN?

6. I think my nokia 7250i gets better signal indoors where it did not before, is this because I got a new sim or they switched an old 1900 mhz TDMA tower to GSM.

7. So with the new UMTS/WCDMA rollout will the "new" Cingular only use 1900 mhz as the frequency.

8. Does anyone still use thei...

HP IPAG 6315

I have an unlocked 6315 in which my AT&T sim card worked just fine. 🙂 I have just swicthed to Cingular and their new Sim does not work in this phone. The card works ina Z600 I have so I assume it is not the card. Cingular were less than useful suggesting that they did not support the phone and maybe I need a firmware update from HP. Does anyone have any suggestions.

thanks

Mitch

I hate it when they say "HUH"

The most ignorant, annoying, rude thing that irk's me is when instead of saying "can you repeat that" or "I didn't catch that" they just say HUH like some kinda stupid oaf with th vocabulary of a three year old.

Help with Mobi TV

I am just looking for some help. I just ordered the Nokia 6230 off of the cingular website after alot of research, and now I am reading that I can't get Mobi-TV on that phone. Is this true? Can anyone please help me? If I can't get it on the 6230, which phones can I get it on?

Cingular Problems

I have suffered frequently in the last 2 years with many problems with my Cingular service, such as delayed notification of voice mail and missed calls (sometimes by several days, frequently by hours), a strange echo which I can hear when talking (which only began last fall, but is becoming more frequent), and error in system connection messages (especially when I am in the nearby city of Knoxville, Tennessee). 3 other family members had exactly the same problems and became so annoyed that they switched to Verizon (so far, they are very happy with Verizon). I would rather stay with Cingular, because Verizon only has analog coverage in my area and I cannot port my number to Verizon. However, can anyone tell me what the source of these prob...

Stores and PUK codes.

For those of you who work in a store, when a customer buys a phone, do you tell them if the PUK code comes up to call CC before entering any numbers? It seems that might be a good practice for all of us..IDK just a thought.

Agile Messenger

Someone on here recently posted that the new version of Agile Messenger did not work with the Nokia 6620. Which version doesn't work, and which version does? Thank you. I found two versions online (3.13 and 3.30)

Nokia 6340i....HELP

I have a customer on the phone who wanted her ringing time extended. I changed it to 60sec and made a test call and it still rang 2.5 times. Is there a way she can change this setting on her phone?

Seeing a lot Creative Names

I see a lot of interesting and creative names. Care to share the reasoning behind the names? I'll start. I'm legally deaf and have a certified "hearing dog" that serves as my ears. So my ears are really a dog's ear.

GAIT and GSM phones on Family Plans

Right now I have three GAIT phones on a family plan. Two of my phones are eligible to be upgraded and the other is not. What I need to know is if it's possible to have a GAIT phone and 2 GSM phones on the same family plan. I thought I had read somewhere that you can have the GAIT option put on your plan that way you can use the sim card from your GSM phone and put it in the GAIT phone if you go into an area that doesn't have GSM service. Is this true?

Thanks
