JessiCSR or any other Cingular CSR ...can you help me please?
Went into a Cingular store to port my number from T-Mobile to Cingular. 3 Days goes by and nothing has happened, so my wife and I decided to cancel the port and just get new numbers. So I called Cingular and T-Mobile. Both told me "ok... the port request has been canceled". So we then proceded to get our new numbers.
Then a month later I get a bill for a month of service (99.99 + 9.99 + 14 (nights at 7)+19.99 (Media works)....etc...
So I call in to CS. I get a nice young lady who tells me that she can't cancel lines and that her sup has to do it so she will get it done in the morning and call me back. Guess what.... no call.. Then the next month I get another bill.
More charges! Yea! More charges....lol...

Voice Connect Question
When you connect to *08 I know that it charges you anytime minutes.
But, when you actually connect to the caller you are trying to reach does it still pull from Anytime minutes?
OR
Once you connect to the caller if that call is eligible for N&W, M2M, etc., than that is how it will be billed.
Thank you in advance for you help.

Help!!! v551 Charge Lasts 1 Day...
Which are consumed first?
If on this type of plan are the rolled over minutes visible in your account by month and the number of minutes or is it displayed as one grand total?
Hmmmm
On another item, the thing I like most about my Cingular is if I ask a question, I get different answers and everyone insists they're right. We'll see next month when I call for another billing correction for the fourth month in a row. Cingular can't program THEIR account billing correctly. I've had the service 4 months! I never had a billing problem w/ATTWS or Verizon. My last call the rep adjusted the account, but admitted she didn't know how to correct the problem, and advised me to call back next month!!! !@#$%^&*
Oh, the problem is I have an international calling plan but am getting billed at the non-plan rate.
Question about GSM + GAIT Option
If I have a GSM nation plan to which I've added the GAIT option, tell me if I'm right or wrong about the following...
1. The 6340i is a multi-network phone I know, but isn't it set up to go with a gsm signal first and then tdma second?
2. If I'm in a stronger tdma area and can get better phone recep on it versus gsm, will the 6340i stick with the gsm signal and ignore the tdma one, or is there a way to force it to work with the strongest signal available?
3. If you get ahold of a 6340i, does it need to have the latest and greatest firmware version in it to make everything work A-OK with the gsm/tdma side of things? I've also been told that Cingular corporate stores no longer will upgrade you in this manner...so do...

just wondering though. 🙂
OH and if you can have a greeting schedule... that thing is a blast!
AT&T Phones
Has anyone on the blue or orange side had to deal with blue customers trying to upgrade with AT&T phones? Does anyone else find it difficult to tell customers that they are SOL when it comes to upgrading without switching to the orange side?
US 41???
voicemail passcode
Cingular has just got worse on text and data.
NOW, 10 dollars gets you 1000 messages, 20 dollars gets yout 2500, and the data plans (media works), got ****ty. It is now 3mb net, 1000 messages, and unlimited picture messaging. Reason they did 3meg data is probably cause of the Siemens SX66, everyone including me was changing to that plan to get unlimted net instead of paying 40 dollars from cingular for net.
Cingular is so retarded with there packages, and people are paying it cause they got 48 million blah blah customers, glad i switched to a good company last month.
Plans to expand network anytime soon???
