I'm having a problem with my nokia 6620. I hear no sounds when I play my games, even though sound is enabled. I also made sure that i didnt have my silent profile on. anyone have any thoughts? should i get a replacement?

When i first returned to work from a leave of absents and started posting under this name it seemed like more then half of the reps who posted were very nagative towards customers. I found that the posts were bad enough to scare away potential customers. I just want to say that in the last two months it has improved significantly. Reps are now helping customers rather then attacking them and genuine questions are getting real answers. I usual am not much help now because I'm still on the blue side of care and it doesn't seem like a lot of customers post from the blue side. I was told once by a rep that I have to be in my 21st month to upgrade, or if my monthly bill is constantly over $75, I can upgrade sooner. Anyone hear of this? Cuz I'm eligible in August, but I want to upgrade sooner, and my monthy bill averages around $120. Thanks in advanced for the help.

Believe it or not but Cingular is the 3rd largest carrier in the world, behind only two Chinese carriers which I believe are goverment ran. Also Verizon is #5 and the only CDMA carrier in the top 10. Some fun facts for you. The largest carrier China Mobile has 204.2 million subscribers, four time what Cingualr has. I thought this was intresting and better than the crap that is usually posted here.

The above link discusses how Qualcomm is not pursuing EV-DV as much and is now focusing on UMTS and HSPDA. This is big because Qualcomm is the proponet for CDMA based networks voice and data. Now they are focusing on future 3G gsm based networks. That should tell you something about CIngular in the near future, Sorry about you Verizon and Sprint but looks like CDMA is going to lagging hard after UMTS and HSPDA. Hopefully in a year will we be seeing data rates as high as 3 Mbps and then I can get rid of comcast, provided Cingular wises up and has an unlimited data plan for around $50.

ok this one is kinda bad but funny a lady calls in with a 32,000 bill give or take and was not upset but laughing becuse she though this was some big mistake looked at bill and it was ALL data charges looked in our tech systems to see what it could have been and her son had taken the phone and hooked it up to the labtop and DL lord of the rings the 4 HOUR MOVIE first i have no clue how long this prob took and adv her the charges were vaild and she went on to say she was going to sue and i told her that was fine but pirating (bad spell) movies was about a 100,000 fine she droped the phone and started beating the kid before the phone even hung up it was crazy

I wanted to know what everything's opinions are on the BEST phone that Cingular offers since we have so many.

Is it the Motorola V551, the Motorola RazR, the Treo 650, the Siemens SX66, the Sony Ericsson S710a, or any other phone I didn't mention?

Which phone would you recommend the most to customers?

I have a Motorola V400 right now but I would get a Motorola V551 since it has all the features I want. But I love all those phones I mention in different ways.

What are your thoughts?

i got this call from a aws REP not a customer but a REP the customer didnt have nights and weekends on the account (our great store guys fault) and the customer was billed overage(home airtime charges) the REP called me in tech and went on the adv me that the customer was never on an airplane that month and should not have been charged all the "airtime" calls

I'm getting ready to move to Portland, and was inquiring how the coverage was for this carrier. I'm debating between Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon. Any input is appreciated. Also I'm thinking of getting the Sony Z500 so not sure how all digital phone works there. Thanks again.

I'm thinking of switching from my current SprintPCS carrier to Cingular.

I live in San Francisco and was wondering if anyone can give me a thumbs up or thumbs down on Cingular in the area (San Fran to San Jose).

I know a while ago Cingular really sucked donkey butt. I was wondering if their service/quality has improved at all.

Any and all pro's and con's would be helpful. I'm sure not to just myself either 🙂
